Come celebrate Diwali with Shahrukh Khan at the Ra.One premiere taking place in Toronto on October 26th!
Ra.One has been in the headlines for months and months now and will likely continue for months after the official release! There is no doubt that it’s the years most anticipated release and definitely will be the top at the box office.
After the IIFA Awards 2011 were held in Toronto where King Khan received endless amounts of love and respect, he decided he wanted to come back to premiere his movie, Ra.One, in Toronto too.
Shahrukh Khan tweeted earlier this week saying
“Looking forward to being in Toronto on 26th though I will just fly in and out…I have fond memories of Toronto….”
A premiere for Ra.one will be held in Dubai on October 24th, London on October 25th, and Toronto on October 26th, the official release date of the movie.
As the news was confirmed by King Khan himself, as well as announced by the official presenter of Ra One Toronto Premiere, Star Mantra Entertainment Group and Esquire Viva Promotions, the Bollywood junkies were going crazy as this may be the only moment in their life to see a superstar like King Khan up close.
King Khan’s persona is one to match with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise’s as all of them have a huge fan following. One security guard was even quoted saying “I have been a personal security guard for many of the top Hollywood celebrities but the craze for Shahrukh is crazy, people treat him like god and I have never seen anything I like it.”
Tickets for the premiere went on sale this past Friday and the response is extremely outrageous. The ticket is priced at $200 dollars; this will allow you to walk the red carpet as well as watch the screening of the movie amongst the King himself, Shahrukh Khan.
The hype for the tickets is just crazy!! One of the sales managers was quoted saying “It’s not just South Asian community buying the tickets but people from non-south Asian communities which are also wanting to meet the King personally.”
Regardless of the tickets high price, they’re selling quickly! It’s recommended one should buy them soon because waiting for the last minute could result in you missing out the epic event!
Ra.One is said to be the most expensive film in Bollywood history and is set to transform the Indian film industry with its ground-breaking visual and audio effects.
How many opportunities does one have to meet someone with Mr. Khan’s stature in their lifetime? One cannot really go wrong with spending for an experience of a lifetime.
The premier will take place at Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox where Shahrukh Khan himself will walk down the red carpet and greet all his fans. The excitement doesn’t stop there; fans that have purchased a ticket will also get to be a part of the 3D screening of the move while sitting amongst the stars of the film.
As if this wasn’t enough, a release party will also be held at Toronto’s Sound Academy on October 26th after the screening.
Shahrukh Khan tweeted yesterday saying
“Got to know just now we r having a Ra.One release party on 26th at the sound academy toronto…do all come and join the fun. Love to all”
With SRK visiting Toronto in June for the IIFA awards and now for the Ra.One film Premiere it’s likely fans of King Khan may not see him in person for some time to come.
Organizers have expressed that this is a highly exclusive event and only small blocks of tickets will be available to the public.
