He undertook a rigorous eight-month training programme and strict diet to sport the extraordinary physique, to match up to the action sequences he was required to shoot for the film.
Force revolves around Yashvardhan (John Abraham), who is a hard-headed senior narcotics officer who doesn’t play by the book but always ensures justice is served. In the midst of his most dangerous and significant operation to crack down on India’s drug carterls, he encounters a ruthless enemy who will stop at nothing until he gets revenge for the damage done to his business by the narcotics team.
When he meets free spirited Maya (Genelia D’Souza), he is pushed to make a choice betwen the life he already knows and the life he could have with her.
Directed by Nishikant Kamath and produced by Vipul Amratlal Shah, Force hits cinema screens worldwide on September 30th.
