Earlier in the year, DJ Bobby Friction of the BBC challenged rapper, Shizzio, to take a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan track and update it with a modern day twist. Friction wanted to see if the track would garner as much praise and popularity as the original hits from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Friction was surprised when his ‘Friction’ show was bombarded with requests for the track and has quickly become one of Shizzio’s most popular hits.
