Bollywood Fashion What's Happenin'

Vogue it with Priyanka Chopra!

Fashionista Priyanka Chopra graces the November 2010 cover of Vogue India. There’s even a in-depth feature on the actress inside the magazine!

The talented beauty queen looks stunning in a sari inspired outfit from the Louis Vuitton Diwali Collection to celebrate the Sari theme of the issue. The satin black accents on the dress add a sophisticated touch to the dress. Priyanka’s dark, smoky make up and curled hair makes the stunning beauty queen look like a china doll. Perhaps she should have had a simpler look to emphasize the beauty of the dress, but the entire cover itself is still breath-taking. A true blend of East meets West, the collection uses the traditional sari with a modern twist for a more global fashion.

PC reveals a few secrets in the Vogue issue as well! Priyanka said she’s obsessed with Twitter, addicted to junk food (but thanks to her high metabolism she doesn’t gain much weight from her pizza and paratha consuming, Lucky girl!) and prefers to read at the library than shop. She also said that she loves to just stare at the sky, read a good book with her cup of coffee and loves to hang out with her old friends instead of partying the night away. Bollywood’s brightest starlet confesses that she’s just a romantic at heart, she wants to find a man that she can just be herself with. Is that Shahid she’s talking about? Or maybe it’s Ranbir?

Priyanka Chopra is the perfect icon for this issue because of her global appeal. With her award winning acting, controversial relationship status, her Fear Factor show and now her new voice blogs, youtube channel and website, PC is at the top of her game. Her latest movie, Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor also did fairly well in the box office as well. Priyanka Chopra is currently the biggest name with some real talent in Bollywood (but maybe that’s just me?)
