The latest task in the Bigg Boss 20 house has sparked another debate among the contestants, with Kanika Mann calling attention to what she believes is a clear case of double standards. As the housemates reacted strongly to the way Arishfa was treated during the latest situation, Kanika reminded everyone of what had happened during the previous task.
“Last task mein yahi sab ho raha tha tab kisine nahi bola, ab bakiyon par baat aa rahi hai toh bol rahe hai galat hai.”
Kanika’s argument stemmed from the fact that when she was trying to put forward her perspective during the last task, she felt that nobody was willing to hear her out. However, when a similar situation involved Arishfa, the reactions inside the house appeared very different.
She also pointed out that Arshifa herself had spoken to Kanika in a similar manner during the previous task, making the sudden outrage over the latest situation seem inconsistent to her.
Rather than simply following the majority opinion, Kanika questioned why the same behaviour was being viewed differently depending on who was involved. Her argument highlighted the importance of applying the same standards to everyone inside the house.
Kanika has consistently maintained a direct approach in the Bigg Boss 20 house, and this time too, she chose to voice her concerns instead of keeping quiet. Her observation brought the focus back to the larger issue of consistency and fairness among the contestants.
With tensions continuing to rise, Kanika’s straightforward take adds another perspective to the ongoing task drama and reinforces her willingness to question the house when she feels something is not being judged fairly.
The ongoing drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house has once again brought questions around behaviour, boundaries to the forefront. During an argument involving Arishfa Khan, Scout’s statement about hitting her did not go unnoticed, with Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu stepping in to call out what he felt was unacceptable behaviour.
Gullu, known for being direct and straightforward with his opinions, questioned the seriousness of making such statements during an argument. Calling out Scout’s approach, he said, “Pehle bolo phir rodo rone kya matlab hai bola hai toh thoke bolo.”
Gullu’s reaction came as he took a clear stand for Arishfa and refused to overlook a statement that crossed a line for him. His response reflected his belief that contestants should be mindful of the things they say, particularly when an argument gets heated.
Rather than staying away from the confrontation, Gullu chose to speak his mind and make it clear that certain behaviour cannot simply be brushed aside. His stance also showcased the way he has been approaching situations inside the house by addressing issues head-on and standing up for what he believes is right.
For Gullu, the matter was not merely about an argument between two contestants but about drawing a line when it comes to threatening or aggressive statements. His intervention gave Arishfa support at a tense moment and once again highlighted his straightforward personality.
As the dynamics inside the Bigg Boss 20 house continue to shift, Gullu’s willingness to question behaviour and take a stand is becoming an important part of his game. His latest reaction further establishes him as a contestant who prefers calling things out rather than staying silent.
Ganesh Chaturthi holds a special place in the heart of Mann Sundar actor Ankur Bharddwaj. For the actor, the festival is not just about celebrations and festivities, but also about faith, family, positivity and the lessons he takes from Bappa.
“Ganesh Chaturthi is not just a festival for me, but a time to celebrate with a lot of positivity. After coming to Mumbai, this festival has become even more special to me. I really enjoy the festive atmosphere here and the way everyone comes together to welcome Bappa,” says Ankur.
“I love modak and ghar ka prasad. That is something I always look forward to during Ganesh Chaturthi. I pray that Bappa keeps me, my family and my friends healthy and wealthy. I also wish to keep growing as an actor and continue doing my work with sincerity.”
For Ankur, Bappa is also a source of strength when life brings challenges.
“One thing I learn from Bappa is to deal with challenges with patience and positivity. There will always be ups and downs, but it is important to keep doing your work and not lose your positivity. I try to carry that thought with me in my everyday life.”
While celebrations have become bigger over the years, Ankur feels the emotions behind the festival have remained unchanged.
“The scale of celebrations has definitely increased, especially in a city like Mumbai, but the essence of the festival is still the same. Our faith and emotions remain at the centre of it. For me, no matter how big the celebration is, you must always have respect for Bappa.”
“If I bring Bappa home, I try to spend the entire day with Him. It feels special to have Bappa at home and be around Him during the celebrations. If I don’t bring Him home, I visit my friends and family, go to their homes and also visit different pandals.”
He adds,
“For me, Ganesh Chaturthi is about being grateful, staying positive and spending time with the people who matter. I just want Bappa to keep blessing me and my loved ones, keep us healthy and happy, and help me continue growing as an actor and doing good work.”

The ongoing drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house has now drawn a reaction from outside, with Love Gill’s sister Gursimran Kaur speaking about the comments surrounding her sister’s equation with Amrapali.

Love has been making genuine efforts to form friendships with the contestants since the beginning of her Bigg Boss journey.
However, Gursimran believes that instead of appreciating those connections, some contestants are unnecessarily turning them into a source of drama.
Speaking specifically about Amrapali, Gursimran said she feels Love has found a genuine friend in her. She also criticised the attempt to give their friendship a different meaning through certain comments made inside the house.
“It’s heartbreaking watching Love genuinely try to make friends while everyone else seems hungry for footage. She has always formed deep, real friendships, and I truly think she had found that in Amrapali. But even that pure bond is being dragged into cheap comments like, ‘Dono shaadi karke ek hi ghar mein jaaoge.’ Honestly, you need a very dirty mind to sexualise a simple friendship between two girls. It says much more about the person making the comment than it ever will about Love and Amrapali,” Gursimran said.
She also expressed her disappointment over Aman using a derogatory term for Love and another woman. Gursimran pointed out that the situation was even more disappointing because the contestants who were present did not object to the remark.
“Even Aman using such a derogatory term for Love and another woman is deeply disappointing, especially when the other contestants standing there chose not to say anything. I just hope Love realises soon that not everyone in that house is there to make genuine connections,” she added.
Gursimran’s reaction brings attention to the growing concerns surrounding Love’s interactions inside the house. Her comments also show that Love’s family believes her friendships should not be unnecessarily judged or given a different interpretation.
With tensions continuing to build in Bigg Boss 20, Love will now have to navigate friendships, disagreements and the constant scrutiny that comes with life inside the house. It remains to be seen how her bond with Amrapali develops from here.
Bigg Boss 20 witnessed a heated confrontation between Aman Gandhi and Amrapali Dubey, which has now sparked a debate among viewers over personal remarks and body-shaming inside the house.

What started with playful mimicry soon escalated into a verbal argument, with Amrapali making comments about Aman’s appearance and his use of eye drops.
During the heated exchange, Amrapali told Aman, “Mujhe tera muh achha nahi lagta. Mat baat kar mujhse, chal chup reh. Limit mein reh, eye drops daalke soja ja.”
Her comment about the eye drops immediately drew Aman’s response. He clarified that he uses eye drops because he has an eye-related medical issue and is undergoing treatment, saying, “Meri aankhein kharab hain, doctors ke paas ilaaj chal raha hai. Uski wajah se main eye drops daalta hoon.”
The argument did not stop there. When the conversation shifted towards footage, Amrapali further took a dig at Aman’s journey. She referred to herself as a “shehzadi” and said, “12 saal se hoon shehzadi, teri tarah struggle nahi kar rahi hoon. Chal nikal, chal struggler.”
These comments have caught the attention of netizens, with several viewers questioning whether personal appearance, health-related matters and professional struggles should be brought into an argument. A section of social media users has described the remarks as unnecessary and body-shaming, while others believe that the heated atmosphere of the Bigg Boss house often pushes contestants into saying things they might not otherwise say.
Aman, meanwhile, did not stay silent. He firmly defended himself and his medical treatment, making it clear that his eye drops were not something he was using for attention but were part of his treatment.
The clash has now become a talking point among Bigg Boss 20 viewers, with the conversation shifting from a simple argument to a larger debate about personal attacks, body-shaming and respecting someone’s health-related concerns.
The nomination game seems to be bringing out changing equations inside the Bigg Boss house. As discussions around nominations come to light in front of the contestants, Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu speaks up about what he feels are the real intentions of Scout and others.
Known for being straightforward, Gullu gives a simple piece of advice and calls out Scout, says
“Jaise raho mooh par raho, mooh par dost mat bano.” His statement comes as the nomination discussions make the contestants question where everyone’s loyalties actually stand.
Gullu also makes sure to alert Qazi about the intentions of Scout and the others. He shares his thoughts with Qazi and makes him aware of what he feels could be happening behind the scenes.
The conversation highlights the changing dynamics inside the house, where friendships can often be tested when nominations are involved. While some contestants may be trying to play their game strategically, Gullu makes it clear that he prefers people to be honest and upfront about their equations.
Gullu, meanwhile, continues to keep his game direct and transparent. He has been seen observing the equations around him while also speaking up when he feels something is not right. His straightforward approach and willingness to alert his fellow contestants continue to make his gameplay stand out.
Actor Aadesh Chaudhary, who is currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shares his thoughts on Ganesh Chaturthi, his childhood memories of celebrating the festival with his family and the special significance Bappa holds in his life. For Aadesh, the festival has always been associated with faith and new beginnings, but living in Mumbai has made his connection with Ganpati even deeper.

Talking about what Ganesh Chaturthi means to him today, Aadesh says,
“Ganesh Chaturthi for me has always been about new beginnings and faith. As a kid, it was about excitement, ladoos, and decoration. But living in Mumbai, the meaning has become much deeper. Here, Ganpati is not just a festival, it’s an emotion. The energy of the whole city changes. For me today, it means hope. No matter how tough the year has been, when Bappa comes, you feel everything will be okay. Mumbai has taught me the true power of faith.”
Aadesh also has a fond childhood tradition that he continues to cherish.
“Yes, in our home we always used to make modaks together as a family. My mother would make the filling and we kids would try to give it a shape, however imperfect. I still try to keep that tradition alive. Even if I’m busy, I make sure to sit together and make modaks or at least help in the kitchen. It reminds me of home, of togetherness. For me, a festival is not just puja, it’s doing things together,” he shares.
For the actor, Lord Ganesha‘s identity as Vighnaharta also carries an important lesson about handling challenges.
“The biggest lesson is patience and wisdom over power. Lord Ganesha could have used power, but he always used buddhi. Whenever I face a challenge in life or career, I remind myself, don’t react immediately, think, be wise, and the obstacle will go away on its own. Bappa teaches us that every vighna has a solution if you keep a calm mind,” says Aadesh.
“I think both things are happening. Celebrations have become bigger, which is beautiful because it shows our love for Bappa. But sometimes in the noise and show, we forget the silence inside, the spiritual part. The essence of Ganesh Chaturthi is simplicity, humility and wisdom. I feel if we bring in more eco-friendly idols, less noise pollution, and more devotion than display, we can keep the balance. Celebration is important, but bhakti is more important,” he says.
Aadesh also makes it a point to bring Bappa home whenever his work schedule allows. He shares,
“Yes, I love to bring Bappa home whenever I can. Mostly I keep for one and a half days or five days depending on my shoot schedule. Even if it’s for a short time, the feeling of Bappa being at home is magical. The whole house lights up.”
Even when his shooting schedule doesn’t allow him to bring Ganpati home, the actor makes sure he doesn’t miss out on the festivities.
“Absolutely! That’s the best part of Mumbai. If I’m not keeping Ganpati at my home that year, I make sure to visit my friends. I love going for darshan, doing aarti, eating prasad. There is so much warmth in Mumbai during Ganpati, every home welcomes you like family. I never miss that,” he says.
And when it comes to festive food, Aadesh has no hesitation in naming his favourite.
“Modak, without any doubt! Ukadiche modak is my absolute favourite. And puran poli and all the festive Maharashtrian food. During Ganpati, I forget my diet completely. Bappa’s prasad has no calories!” he says with a laugh.
As he looks forward to the festival this year, Aadesh has a heartfelt wish for Bappa.
“My only wish is good health and peace for everyone. For my family, friends, for the whole industry, and for everyone who is struggling. And I pray that Bappa removes all obstacles from everyone’s path and brings more compassion and wisdom in this world. Ganpati Bappa Morya!” he concludes.
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with immense devotion and grandeur across Mumbai, and for actor Amal Sehrawat, who is known for his work in Sarkar 3, Satya 2, Choti Sarrdaarni, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the festival has taken on an even more special meaning after living in the city. Speaking about what the festival means to him today, Amal shares that it is a celebration rooted in faith, positivity, and new beginnings.

“For me, Ganesh Chaturthi is about faith, positivity and new beginnings. Having lived in Mumbai, I’ve experienced the festival in a completely different way. The energy here is incredible. Ganpati truly feels like the heartbeat of the city. What has changed for me is that I’ve started appreciating not just the celebration, but the sense of togetherness and devotion behind it,” he says.
While the scale of the celebrations in Mumbai is something Amal deeply appreciates, he continues to hold on to the traditions that have been a part of his life since childhood. For him, welcoming Bappa with his family remains particularly meaningful.
“The tradition I cherish most is welcoming Bappa with family, offering prayers and seeking His blessings before beginning anything important. It reminds me that no matter how much life changes, some traditions keep you connected to your roots and family,” Amal shares.
Lord Ganesha is also revered as Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, and Amal believes there is a valuable lesson in that aspect of Bappa’s identity. He says the deity inspires him to remain grounded and continue moving forward even when faced with challenges.
“Bappa teaches me to stay calm, grounded and keep moving forward. Life will always have obstacles, but the key is not to let them overpower your faith or determination. I believe in doing my best, staying positive and leaving the rest to Bappa,” he says.
With festivals becoming increasingly grand and commercialised, Amal feels that it is important not to lose sight of the devotion at the heart of Ganesh Chaturthi. According to him, the grandeur should complement the spirit of the festival rather than overshadow it.
“I think both things exist. The grandeur is beautiful and it brings people together, but we should never allow the celebration to overshadow the devotion. For me, the real essence of Ganesh Chaturthi is faith, family, community and gratitude. The decorations and festivities should add to that spirit, not replace it,” he says.
Even when he does not have Bappa at home, Amal makes it a point to visit friends and family who welcome Ganpati. He enjoys the opportunity to be part of the festivities and believes that one of the most beautiful aspects of the festival is how it brings people closer.
“I absolutely love visiting friends and family who bring Bappa home. One of the best things about Ganesh Chaturthi is that Bappa brings everyone together. You get to visit people, share prasad, enjoy the celebrations and, most importantly, seek Bappa’s blessings,” he says.
And when it comes to the festive food, there is one favourite that Amal simply cannot resist — modaks.
“Modaks, without a doubt! They are synonymous with Ganpati for me. I also love the whole festive spread and the prasad because food during festivals has a different kind of warmth — it’s always about sharing and enjoying it together,” he adds.
As he seeks Bappa’s blessings this year, Amal’s wish is centred around the well-being of his loved ones, along with growth and wisdom in his professional journey.
“My biggest wish is for Bappa to bless my family and loved ones with good health, happiness and peace. And professionally, I hope he opens the right doors and gives me the strength and wisdom to make the most of every opportunity. Bas Bappa ka haath sar par bana rahe. Ganpati Bappa Morya!” he concludes.
