Sshrey Pareek on his Bollywood debut with Oye Chill Maar: “It’s a gift from the universe that I waited so long for”

Actor Sshrey Pareek is all set to take an exciting step forward in his career as he makes his Bollywood debut with Oye Chill Maar. Having already been part of television and worked across approximately 10 shows, Sshrey says his journey so far has allowed him to explore different shades as an actor. His last television project was Jhanak, while he holds a special place in his heart for Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane.

“One of the best things about my career is that I haven’t played the same character repeatedly. I have done approximately 10 shows and honestly, all of them are my favourites in their own way. But if I have to name one, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane will always be very special to me,” shares Sshrey.

Talking about Oye Chill Maar, Sshrey reveals that his character is far more layered than what one may initially expect. He plays a mysterious man carrying emotional baggage from his past, while also exploring different dimensions through romance, friendship and action.

“My role in Oye Chill Maar is very layered. He is a mysterious guy who is dealing with past trauma and has issues with his father. At the same time, he is a lover boy and a friend who can go to any extent for the people he loves. He also has a dark side of his own, which makes him mysterious because nobody really knows who he actually is,” he says.

For Sshrey, the film’s biggest strength lies in its ability to bring together different genres while retaining a sense of rawness.

“The USP of the project is its rawness. It is entertaining, thrilling and romantic, and it is also a power-packed film with an outstanding storyline. There is also a glimpse of a social message around social media usage. We have left it for the audience to decide whether we are using social media correctly or not,” he explains.

Interestingly, acting wasn’t Sshrey’s only passion. Before pursuing acting, he trained with Shiamak Davar’s company and worked with them for a considerable period. Had he not become an actor, choreography would have been his natural choice.

“If I wasn’t an actor, I would have been a choreographer. I was trained by Shiamak Davar’s company and worked with them for a long time. I always had this dream of seeing myself as an actor-dancer. People have seen me as an actor because I have been working in the industry for a long time, but in this film, they will also get to see my dancing,” says Sshrey.

The Bollywood debut is particularly meaningful for Sshrey Pareek because the film has given him the opportunity to explore multiple facets of his craft.

“This is extremely special for me. I have done everything in this film that an actor wants to do. There is romance, action, comedy, intensity and dancing, what more could I ask for? Getting a film is one thing, but getting a film as a lead where the story is majorly centred around you is a wish for every actor. I have got that opportunity and I hope I prove my potential through it,” he says.

Calling the film a blessing after years of waiting, Sshrey adds,

“It feels like a gift from the universe to me. I have waited so long for this, and the universe gave me the best. I am really grateful for it.”

As he steps into a new phase of his career, the actor says he isn’t looking to restrict himself to any particular genre. His primary aim is to keep experimenting and show audiences different sides of his personality as an actor.

“Honestly, I am an actor who wants to explore everything. Every role that can possibly be done, I want to do it. I want to show the world that there is nothing I can’t do. One of my recent favourites is 10th Fail, and I would love to get a role like that at this stage of my career,” he shares.

When asked about his dream role, Sshrey admits that there isn’t just one character on his wishlist.

“I have many dream roles. From a complex character like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones to a king like Bajirao, from a simple boy like the one in 10th Fail to a spy like Dhurandhar, I want to explore everything. I would also love to do a massy role like KGF and play a heartbroken guy like in Musafir Cafe. There are so many shades I want to experience as an actor,” he concludes.

Richa Chadha unveils Trailer of Musafiri; her first non-fiction series and YouTube foray

Hosted, produced and written by Richa Chadha, the eight-episode series is a curious exploration of Mumbai, uncovering stories, people, places and histories that often remain beyond the obvious

Richa Chadha is all set to embark on a new journey as she unveils the trailer of Musafiri, her first-ever non-fiction series and her first foray into the world of YouTube.

Hosted, produced and written by Richa herself, the eight-episode series will premiere on Phull Stop, the new YouTube channel launched by Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, with the first episode set to drop on September 25, followed by a new episode every Friday.

Musafiri marks the second production under Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s Pushing Buttons Studios, following the acclaimed Girls Will Be Girls, which went on to win major honours at Sundance with Chadha also being awarded the John Cassevettes prize at Indie Spirit Awards, LA.
The idea for the series was born out of her journey into motherhood and beyond, which sparked a renewed sense of curiosity about the world around her and, most significantly, about the city she has called home for years.

The trailer opens with Richa reflecting on motherhood and the way becoming a mother made her look at the familiar with an entirely new sense of wonder. A history honours student from St. Stephen’s College and someone who grew up in a family of academics, Richa has always carried a deep curiosity about art, history, culture and people. With Musafiri, she turns that gaze towards Mumbai, asking a deceptively simple question – How well does she really know the city that has given her so much?

The first season of Musafiri is dedicated entirely to Mumbai, a city that has shaped Richa’s life and career and, in many ways, given her the life she has today. Rather than exploring the city through its most familiar landmarks and stories, the series seeks to look beyond the obvious, venturing into its lesser-known histories, overlooked spaces, fascinating characters and untold stories.

Across eight episodes, Richa becomes a curious traveller in her own city, exploring Mumbai through conversations with local residents, cultural practitioners, historians and experts.

At its heart, Musafiri is about asking questions, about People Places and Pyaar.

Speaking about Musafiri, Richa Chadha says, “Motherhood changed the way I look at the world. It makes you curious all over again , you start questioning things you have taken for granted, looking at the familiar with a completely different sense of wonder. I found myself asking so many questions about the city I have lived in for years. Do I really know Mumbai? How much of this city do I actually know? And a question that stayed with me was, a city that has given me so much, what do I owe it in return?

“I have always been curious about history, art, culture and people. I was a history honours student and grew up in a family where academics and curiosity were very much a part of our lives. Musafiri felt like a natural extension of that part of me. It is my attempt to travel through a city I thought I knew, but with fresh eyes.”

Produced by Pushing Buttons Studios, Musafiri marks a new creative chapter for Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal as they expand their production slate into non-fiction. The series will premiere on newly minted Phull Stop YouTube Channel on September 25, with eight episodes releasing every Friday.

Vingansa song from Drishyam: The Conclusion out now! A glimpse into Ajay Devgn’s final game to protect his family; Watch

Composed by Ravi Basrur, written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and sung by Siddharth Basrur, the intense track captures the revenge and tension at the heart of Vijay Salgaonkar’s final battle.

The story of Vijay Salgaonkar takes a darker turn with ‘Vingansa’, the first song from the much-awaited film Drishyam: The Conclusion.

Following the gripping trailer that has brought Ajay Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar and introduced Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, the song offers the first musical glimpse into the tension surrounding Vijay Salgaonkar’s carefully protected secret.

With the film set to release theatrically on 2nd October 2026, ‘Vingansa’ sets the mood for a chapter where the stakes are higher and the past refuses to stay buried.

The title ‘Vingansa’ takes inspiration from the Portuguese word ‘vingança’, meaning revenge and the song carries that emotion through its dark, intense soundscape.

Driven by a sense of anger and confrontation, it reflects a world where old wounds remain open and revenge are now sitting alongside the search for truth.

Composed by Ravi Basrur, with lyrics by Aamil Keeyan Khan and vocals by Siddharth Basrur, the track brings a raw, brooding energy to Vijay’s world, with Siddharth’s powerful vocals adding to its intensity running through the song.

Composer Ravi Basrur said, “With ‘Vingansa’, I wanted the music to feel like the pressure was slowly building. There is a lot happening beneath the surface in Vijay’s world, and the music needed to carry that without becoming too loud or obvious. Siddharth’s voice has that rawness and intensity which worked beautifully for the song. Aamil’s words also gave me a strong emotional space to build the composition around.”

Lyricist Aamil Keeyan Khan said, “This composition by Ravi Basrur ji was so catchy and yet so peculiar that it demanded an equally peculiar word. Vingansa is a Goan word that comes from the Portuguese word for ‘revenge’ or ‘vengeance’. Revenge in this story is not simply about anger; it comes from everything these characters have done and carried with them for years. I wanted the lyrics to have that weight. The song had to feel like it belonged to the world of Drishyam, where every action has an equally terrifying reaction.”

Singer Siddharth Basrur said, “When I heard the composition, I immediately felt that this song needed a certain rawness. It couldn’t sound too perfect or too controlled. There is a lot of aggression and emotion underneath ‘Vingansa’, and I tried to keep that feeling alive in the vocals. Ravi’s music already had so much intensity that my job was really to get inside that emotion and let the voice carry it.”

With ‘Vingansa’, the makers now give audiences the first musical glimpse into this final confrontation, one where every secret has a price, every move matters, and Vijay Salgaonkar’s biggest battle may still be ahead.

The song is out now on all streaming platforms via Sony Music India. Star Studio18 presents Drishyam: The Conclusion, directed by Abhishek Pathak, produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant. Drishyam: The Conclusion is all set for its grand theatrical release on 2nd October 2026.

Best Stress Relief Toys for Adults

Stress has a funny way of showing up in everyday life. You may find yourself tapping your foot during a meeting, squeezing your hands while thinking, or reaching for your phone whenever you need a quick break. For some people, 3D printed fidget toys offer a simple alternative—something small to handle while taking your mind off a stressful moment.

The best stress relief toys for adults are not necessarily complicated. Some provide repetitive movement, others offer resistance or tactile feedback, and some are simply enjoyable to use after a long day. The right choice depends on what feels comfortable and what fits naturally into your routine.

What Makes a Good Stress Relief Toy?

The best toys to reduce stress tend to be easy to use without much preparation. You should be able to pick one up, use it for a few minutes, and put it away just as easily.

A few things are worth considering:

  • Comfort: The toy should feel good in your hand.
  • Movement: Look for the type of motion you naturally enjoy.
  • Noise: Quiet designs are better for offices and shared spaces.
  • Size: Compact toys are easier to keep at a desk or carry with you.
  • Durability: Frequent handling means the toy needs to hold up to regular use.

A toy can look great, but if it feels awkward or gets annoying after five minutes, it probably won’t become part of your routine.

1. Fidget Clickers

Clickers are a simple choice for adults who enjoy repetitive finger movement.

You press a button or section, feel the mechanism move, and repeat. There is something satisfying about getting into that rhythm, especially when you’re sitting through a long meeting or thinking through a problem.

They’re also easy to use without looking at them, although the clicking sound may not be ideal in a quiet office.

2. Fidget Spinners

Fidget spinners offer smooth, repetitive movement instead of the short action of a clicker.

Once you get the spinner moving, your fingers can keep the motion going with very little effort. That makes spinners convenient when you want something simple during reading, studying, travel, or a short break.

They are also small enough to keep in a desk drawer or bag.

3. Stress Balls and Squeeze Toys

Sometimes you want more resistance than a spinner can provide.

Stress balls and squeeze toys let you press, hold, and release with your whole hand. The movement is simple, but the physical resistance can make the interaction feel more substantial.

These can be a good choice for adults who prefer stronger tactile input instead of fine finger movements.

4. 3D Printed Fidget Toys

If standard fidgets feel a little predictable, 3D printed designs offer more variety.

Because 3D printing allows for unusual shapes and moving structures, a fidget can feel more like a small mechanical object than a conventional stress toy. You might interact with several sections, rotate parts, or move a figure through different positions.

Nexbie’s fidget toys includes clickers, geometric fidgets, and articulated designs. The different mechanisms create noticeably different hand experiences, from the firm press of a clicker to the changing movement of an articulated figure.

That variety is useful when you’re still figuring out what kind of movement you enjoy.

5. Mechanical and Gear Fidgets

Some adults prefer a fidget that feels a little more engaging.

Gear-based designs combine movement with mechanical feedback. As you rotate or manipulate one section, another part responds, giving your fingers something more interesting to follow.

These can be especially appealing on a desk because they work as both a fidget and a small conversation piece.

6. Articulated Toys

An articulated toy is a nice option when you don’t want to repeat exactly the same movement.

Connected sections can bend, twist, and reposition, so each interaction feels slightly different. Instead of pressing one button over and over, you can slowly move through the figure with your fingers.

They can also work as desk decor when you’re finished using them, which gives them a little more personality than a traditional stress ball.

7. Puzzle Fidgets

Puzzle fidgets sit somewhere between a toy and a mini brain teaser.

You might rotate parts, align sections, or figure out how the mechanism works. The hands stay busy, but your brain gets a small challenge too.

This is a good choice for adults who find simple repetitive movements boring and want something that holds their attention a little longer.

8. Sensory Desk Toys

Not every stress relief toy needs to move dramatically.

Some adults simply enjoy touching a particular surface, manipulating a textured object, or holding something with a satisfying weight. These sensory desk toys can be useful during short breaks or while thinking.

The important thing is finding a sensation you actually enjoy. Some people like smooth movement, while others prefer texture or resistance.

Which Stress Relief Toy Is Right for You?

Start with how you naturally fidget.

If you already click pens or tap with your fingers, a clicker may feel familiar. If you like continuous movement, try a spinner. Prefer squeezing or stronger resistance? A stress ball may be a better fit.

Your environment matters too.

A quiet mechanical toy may be more practical at work, while a louder or more interactive design can be reserved for home. And if you’re going to carry it around, choose something small enough that you won’t mind keeping it in a bag or pocket.

Conclusion

The best stress relief toys for adults are the ones that feel natural to use and fit into everyday life.

Some people prefer the familiar rhythm of a clicker or spinner. Others want the resistance of a squeeze toy, the movement of a mechanical fidget, or the variety of a 3D printed design.

There is no need to choose the most complicated option. Find something that feels satisfying in your hand, works in your usual environment, and gives you a reason to take a short break from whatever is stressing you out.

Sometimes a few minutes of simple, hands-on movement is all you need to reset before getting back to the day.

A Complete Guide to Digital Marketing for Modern Businesses

Digital marketing has become an essential part of how businesses attract customers, build credibility, and compete in increasingly crowded markets. Whether a company operates locally, sells products online, or provides professional services, having a strong digital presence can make it easier for potential customers to discover and evaluate the business.

However, digital marketing is much more than publishing social media posts or trying to rank a website on Google. It involves a combination of strategies that work together to attract the right audience, communicate value, generate leads, and ultimately support business goals.

This guide explains the major areas of digital marketing, how they work together, and what businesses should consider when developing a practical marketing strategy.

What Is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing refers to marketing activities that use digital channels and technologies to reach and engage potential customers. Common channels include search engines, websites, social media platforms, email, online advertising, and other digital communication channels.

Traditional marketing often relies on channels such as print advertising, television, radio, and direct mail. Digital marketing, by comparison, provides opportunities to target specific audiences, measure interactions, and adjust campaigns based on performance.

A digital marketing strategy may include several activities at the same time, such as:

  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Paid search advertising
  • Social media marketing
  • Content marketing
  • Email marketing
  • Online reputation management
  • Conversion rate optimization
  • Analytics and performance measurement

The right combination depends on the business, its customers, its industry, and its objectives.

Why Digital Marketing Matters

Consumers frequently use digital channels before making purchasing decisions. They may search for a product, compare businesses, read reviews, watch videos, visit websites, or ask questions on social media.

This means that businesses need to consider not only how they promote their products or services, but also what information customers encounter during their research.

An effective digital presence can help a business:

Reach a More Relevant Audience

Digital channels allow marketers to focus on specific audiences based on factors such as search intent, interests, location, demographics, or previous interactions.

For example, a local plumbing company may focus its search strategy on people looking for plumbing services in its service area rather than trying to reach an unrelated nationwide audience.

Build Brand Awareness

Consistent content, useful information, and a recognizable online presence can help people become familiar with a company before they are ready to make a purchase.

Brand awareness is particularly important for businesses with longer buying cycles, where customers may interact with a company several times before contacting or purchasing from it.

Generate Leads and Sales

Digital marketing can guide prospective customers from discovery to action. Depending on the business, that action might be submitting a form, requesting a quotation, making a purchase, booking an appointment, or contacting a sales team.

Measure Performance

One of the major advantages of digital marketing is the ability to monitor performance. Businesses can evaluate metrics such as website traffic, search visibility, engagement, leads, conversion rates, and advertising results.

Measurement makes it possible to identify what is working and where improvements are needed.

The Main Components of Digital Marketing

A successful strategy generally combines several marketing disciplines rather than relying on one channel.

1. Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization, commonly known as SEO, focuses on improving a website’s visibility in organic search results.

SEO can involve several areas, including:

  • Keyword and search-intent research
  • Website structure
  • Page titles and headings
  • Useful and original content
  • Internal linking
  • Technical website performance
  • Mobile usability
  • Site accessibility
  • External references and links
  • Local search optimization

Good SEO starts with understanding what users are actually trying to accomplish when they search.

For example, someone searching for “how to choose accounting software” has a different intent from someone searching for “accounting software pricing.” The first query may require educational content, while the second may indicate that the person is closer to evaluating specific products.

Rather than simply inserting keywords into pages, businesses should create content that genuinely addresses the underlying need behind the search.

2. Content Marketing

Content marketing involves creating and distributing useful information for a defined audience.

Content can take many forms:

  • Blog articles
  • Guides
  • Tutorials
  • Case studies
  • Videos
  • Infographics
  • Research reports
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Email newsletters

The strongest content is created around real customer questions and problems.

For example, a cybersecurity company could publish practical guides about password management, phishing awareness, security policies, and data protection. Such content can help potential customers understand the problem while establishing the business as a useful source of information.

Content should also have a purpose. Some content may attract new visitors through search engines, while other pieces may help existing prospects evaluate a service or make a purchasing decision.

3. Paid Advertising

Paid digital advertising allows businesses to pay for visibility across platforms such as search engines, social networks, websites, and other digital properties.

Search advertising is particularly useful when people are already searching for products or services related to a business.

Paid campaigns can also be used for:

  • Promoting specific products
  • Generating leads
  • Increasing website traffic
  • Retargeting previous visitors
  • Supporting seasonal campaigns
  • Testing new offers or audiences

Advertising budgets should be managed carefully. Generating clicks is not necessarily the same as generating valuable customers.

A campaign should therefore be evaluated using meaningful business metrics rather than focusing only on impressions or clicks.

4. Social Media Marketing

Social media provides businesses with channels for communication, community building, content distribution, and customer engagement.

Different platforms attract different audiences and support different types of content. A business should therefore choose platforms based on where its customers actually spend time rather than attempting to maintain an identical presence everywhere.

Social media strategies may include:

  • Educational content
  • Product demonstrations
  • Customer stories
  • Industry insights
  • Short-form videos
  • Community discussions
  • Customer support
  • Brand announcements

Consistency is generally more valuable than posting frequently without a clear purpose.

5. Email Marketing

Email marketing remains useful because it provides businesses with a direct communication channel to people who have voluntarily subscribed or otherwise provided permission to receive communications.

Businesses can use email to:

  • Welcome new subscribers
  • Share educational content
  • Announce products or services
  • Provide updates
  • Nurture potential customers
  • Encourage repeat purchases

Effective email marketing depends on relevance. Sending every subscriber the same message regardless of their interests can reduce engagement. Segmentation and personalized content can make communications more useful.

6. Local Digital Marketing

Businesses serving specific geographic areas often need a local marketing strategy.

Local digital marketing can include:

  • Optimizing business information for local search
  • Maintaining accurate contact details
  • Collecting and responding appropriately to customer reviews
  • Creating location-relevant website content
  • Developing locally relevant pages
  • Building relationships with local organizations and publications

For a local business, visibility among nearby customers can be more valuable than large volumes of visitors from locations it does not serve.

Creating a Digital Marketing Strategy

Before launching campaigns, businesses should establish clear objectives.

A useful strategy typically begins with five questions:

1. Who Is the Target Audience?

Identify the people most likely to benefit from the product or service.

Consider their needs, problems, purchasing behavior, and the questions they ask before making a decision.

2. What Is the Business Goal?

A marketing campaign should support a measurable business objective.

Examples include:

  • Increasing qualified leads
  • Growing online sales
  • Increasing bookings
  • Improving brand awareness
  • Entering a new market
  • Increasing repeat purchases

3. Which Channels Are Appropriate?

Not every business needs every marketing channel.

A company selling highly specialized industrial equipment may benefit significantly from search visibility and industry-focused content, while a consumer brand may place greater emphasis on social media and visual advertising.

4. What Content Will Help Customers?

Think about the information customers need at different stages of their decision-making process.

Someone discovering a problem may need educational content. Someone comparing solutions may need detailed comparisons, demonstrations, or case studies. Someone ready to buy may need clear pricing, product information, or an easy way to contact the business.

5. How Will Results Be Measured?

Determine the important metrics before launching a campaign.

Depending on the objective, these may include:

  • Organic search traffic
  • Qualified leads
  • Conversion rate
  • Cost per lead
  • Revenue
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Return on advertising spend
  • Email engagement
  • Social engagement

How Different Channels Work Together

Digital marketing channels are most effective when they support one another.

For example, a company might publish a detailed guide designed to answer an important customer question. SEO can help people discover the guide through search engines. Social media can distribute the content to existing followers. An email newsletter can introduce it to subscribers. Paid advertising can provide additional visibility when appropriate.

A visitor who discovers the company through one channel may eventually interact through another before becoming a customer.

This is why businesses should avoid judging every marketing channel in isolation. A customer journey may involve multiple interactions before a conversion takes place.

Choosing a Digital Marketing Agency

Some businesses manage marketing internally, while others work with external specialists. When considering an agency, it is useful to evaluate more than its service list.

A good starting point is to understand whether the agency’s experience and approach match the company’s objectives. Businesses can research its areas of expertise, previous work, communication process, reporting practices, and approach to measurement.

For businesses evaluating potential partners, researching established providers such as Ignite Digital Marketing can also help provide context about the types of digital marketing services available and how agencies position their capabilities.

The goal should not simply be to find an agency that offers the largest number of services. The more important question is whether the agency can address the specific challenges and objectives of the business.

Common Digital Marketing Mistakes

Several mistakes can reduce the effectiveness of an otherwise promising strategy.

Focusing Only on Traffic

More website visitors do not automatically mean more customers. Traffic quality and user intent matter.

Chasing Every Marketing Trend

New platforms and technologies appear regularly, but businesses should evaluate them based on whether they can realistically reach their target audience.

Ignoring the Website Experience

Marketing can bring people to a website, but a confusing navigation system, slow pages, unclear messaging, or difficult contact process can prevent conversions.

Creating Content Without a Purpose

Publishing large quantities of content without understanding the audience or objective can consume resources without producing meaningful results.

Measuring Vanity Metrics

Impressions, likes, and follower counts can provide useful context, but they do not necessarily demonstrate business impact. Metrics should ultimately connect to the goals of the campaign.

Expecting Immediate Results From Every Channel

Some activities, particularly SEO and content marketing, may require sustained effort before their full impact becomes apparent. Paid campaigns may produce faster feedback, but they still require testing and optimization.

How to Improve Digital Marketing Performance

Digital marketing should be treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-time project.

Businesses can improve performance by regularly:

  1. Reviewing campaign and website data.
  2. Identifying pages or campaigns that perform particularly well.
  3. Investigating underperforming areas.
  4. Testing different messages, offers, formats, or audiences.
  5. Improving website usability and conversion paths.
  6. Updating outdated content.
  7. Reassessing audience needs and search behavior.
  8. Allocating resources toward channels that produce meaningful results.

Small improvements can become significant when applied consistently across an entire marketing system.

Final Thoughts

Digital marketing is most effective when it starts with the customer rather than the marketing channel. Businesses need to understand who they are trying to reach, what those people need, and how they make decisions.

SEO, content marketing, paid advertising, social media, email, and local marketing can all play valuable roles, but they should work toward clearly defined objectives.

The strongest digital marketing strategies are also flexible. They use performance data to identify opportunities, refine campaigns, improve customer experiences, and make better decisions over time.

For businesses building or improving their online presence, the most important step is not necessarily adopting every available marketing tactic. It is developing a focused strategy that connects useful information, relevant audiences, measurable goals, and a strong customer experience.

7 Sydney Blinds and Curtain Companies for Homeowners Who Value Precise Installation in 2026

A poorly fitted blind is one of those flaws you can never quite unsee. Light bleeds around the edges of a supposed blockout. A shutter panel binds against a frame that wasn’t measured square. A curtain track sits a few millimetres proud and throws the whole room off balance. In a city the size of Sydney – the capital of New South Wales and Australia’s largest urban population – thousands of homeowners commission new window furnishings every year, and the single biggest determinant of whether they’re happy in five years’ time isn’t the fabric. It’s the precision of the measurement and installation.

For homeowners who have already decided they want a professional, fit-first-time result, the provider you choose matters enormously. Our top pick is Sydney Blinds n Co. for whole-home and multi-room projects where product breadth and expert in-home guidance are non-negotiable – it offers custom blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings, and screens under one specialist roof, backed by on-site consultation from measurement through to final install. That combination of made-to-measure customisation, expert advice, and a quality-materials commitment is precisely what precision-focused buyers are paying for. For homeowners whose priority is dedicated in-home advice and full installation support from a single specialist, Complete Blinds Sydney is a strong alternative. And for buyers who value a streamlined measure-and-install process, No Bull Blinds is another option.

Below, we rank seven Sydney and NSW window furnishings companies strictly on the criteria that matter to a precision-first homeowner: installation accuracy, measure-to-fit reliability, and quality of finish. Each has been assessed on where it genuinely excels – and where it doesn’t.

How We Ranked These

Not every window furnishings company is trying to solve the same problem. Some are e-commerce retailers optimised for standard windows; others are hands-on specialists built around the in-home visit. We weighted our ranking around the three factors that separate a precise, durable result from a compromised one.

Customisation Depth

The first test is range: how many product types a company genuinely makes to measure, and whether it can handle non-standard window shapes. A provider offering roller blinds, blockout roller blinds, sunscreen roller blinds, cellular blinds, motorised blinds, panel glides, plantation shutters, curtains, awnings, and screens can solve a whole-home brief without you juggling multiple suppliers. Depth here also signals fabric and material choice – the difference between a serviceable fit and one tailored to the room’s light, privacy, and style.

Service Process Quality

The second criterion is whether the company delivers a complete, joined-up service: in-home consultation, professional measurement, and installation as one accountable package. When the same organisation measures and installs, responsibility for the fit sits in one place. Self-measurement shifts that risk onto you – fine for a standard window, costly for anything unusual.

Materials and Finish Standards

Finally, we looked at evidence of quality sourcing and long-term durability. Precise installation is wasted on flimsy components. For energy-conscious buyers, product performance also intersects with efficiency – Australia’s windows guidance explains how close-fitting lined curtains or blinds can help with temperature control throughout the year.

Here’s how the seven companies stack up at a glance:

  • Sydney Blinds n Co. – best for whole-home custom window furnishing projects requiring expert end-to-end precision
  • Complete Blinds Sydney – best for dedicated in-home advice and full installation support
  • CB NSW – best for custom blinds and curtains with professional installation on a defined budget
  • No Bull Blinds – best for straightforward, no-fuss blinds, curtains, and shutters installation
  • CAS Blinds – best for buyers choosing between DIY ordering and professional Sydney installation – best for custom shoppers who prefer to research and order online
  • Curtain and Blind Co – best for NSW homeowners wanting a direct-to-consumer online experience
  • Carpet Court – best for homeowners bundling blinds with broader flooring or home-improvement packages

The 7 Best Custom Blinds and Curtain Companies in Sydney for Precise Installation

Each company below earned its place by demonstrating genuine strength in at least one of our three evaluation areas – customisation depth, service process quality, or materials and finish. The order reflects overall installation-precision credentials for Sydney homeowners, with our number one recommendation leading the list. Where a company shines for a specific type of buyer, we’ve said so plainly.

#1. Sydney Blinds n Co. – Best for Whole-Home Custom Window Furnishing Projects Requiring Expert End-to-End Precision

A full-service specialist for homeowners who want one accountable provider from first consultation to final screw.

Sydney Blinds n Co. is a Sydney-based window furnishings supplier and installer whose defining trait is scope. It is a full-service operator covering blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings, and screens, with custom-made options and professional installation. For homeowners tackling a whole-home project across multiple rooms and window styles, that breadth is relevant when comparing options for the Best blinds company in sydney: you can use one team across several window furnishing types rather than coordinating separate suppliers.

The custom range runs deep – roller blinds, blockout roller blinds, sunscreen roller blinds, cellular blinds, motorised blinds, panel glides, and plantation shutters all sit under the same roof, alongside curtains, awnings, and external screens. An in-home consultation anchors the process: an expert measures on-site, discusses colour samples, and advises on the right product for each room’s light and privacy needs. That step is where precision is won or lost, and having a professional own it from the outset materially reduces measurement error.

Strengths:

  • Broad product scope – blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings, and screens from one supplier
  • Expert in-home consultation that reduces the risk of costly measurement mistakes
  • Fully made-to-measure across every product type, including non-standard and awkward window shapes
  • A quality-materials commitment that underpins long-term durability and finish
  • A complete service model, from first consultation through professional installation

Trade-offs:

  • A broad, consultation-led service model may be more than some buyers need for a small, straightforward project
  • Homeowners looking only for a single basic product may prefer a more narrowly focused supplier
  • The in-home consultation model won’t suit buyers who prefer a fully self-directed, online-only purchase

Best for: Sydney homeowners – and designers or architects specifying for clients – running whole-home or multi-room projects who want expert guidance and a precise, made-to-measure result across every window furnishing type.

#2. Complete Blinds Sydney – Best for Sydney Homeowners Wanting Dedicated In-Home Advice and Full Installation Support

A committed local specialist with a service model that closely mirrors our top pick, minus the very widest product range.

Complete Blinds Sydney is built around the same principle that earns the top spot its ranking: get an expert into the home, measure properly, and take responsibility for the installation. It offers custom blinds, shutters, curtains, and awnings, with an in-home consultation and measurement service backed by professional installation. For homeowners who value hands-on, room-by-room advice more than the sheer number of product categories, it’s a genuinely strong option.

Where it edges toward the front of the pack is personalisation. The consultation is a real conversation about product selection and room-specific requirements, not a rushed quote. The finish and installation support are dependable, and the strictly local Sydney focus means the team understands the housing stock they’re working with.

Strengths:

  • A dedicated specialist with an in-home service model comparable to the top pick
  • Personalised advice on product selection and room-specific needs
  • Full installation support included as standard
  • A strong, focused Sydney presence

Trade-offs:

  • Narrower product breadth than Sydney Blinds n Co. – it may not cover every window furnishing type, such as external screens, in one visit
  • Less ideal for the largest whole-home projects that demand the widest product variety
  • Pricing isn’t prominently published; you’ll need a consultation for firm numbers

Best for: Homeowners who prize dedicated in-home advice and full installation support from a single specialist, on projects that don’t require the very broadest product spread.

#3. CB NSW – Best for Custom Blinds and Curtains with Professional Installation on a Defined Budget

A no-frills, credible local operator for buyers whose project is clearly scoped around blinds and curtains.

CB NSW keeps its proposition tight: custom blinds and curtains, plus professional installation, across Sydney. That focus is a feature, not a limitation, for homeowners who don’t need a full furnishings overhaul and simply want blinds and curtains handled without paying for a broader consultation scope. Professional installation is included, which removes the DIY risk that trips up self-directed buyers.

The trade-off is breadth. If your project later expands to shutters, awnings, or external screens, you may find the range doesn’t stretch. But for a defined brief – say, replacing the blinds and curtains in a few key rooms – it’s a sensible, competitively positioned choice.

Strengths:

  • A clear, straightforward offering: custom products plus professional installation
  • A credible local Sydney operator
  • Well suited to projects centred on blinds and curtains rather than a full overhaul
  • Professional installation reduces DIY measurement and fitting risk

Trade-offs:

  • Narrower range than full-spectrum providers – less suited to complex multi-product work
  • Not positioned for whole-home window furnishing overhauls
  • Product types such as awnings and screens may fall outside its scope
  • A less prominent online presence than larger competitors

Best for: Homeowners with a clearly defined blinds-and-curtains project who want professional installation without paying for a wider consultation.

#4. No Bull Blinds – Best for Straightforward, No-Fuss Blinds, Curtains, and Shutters Installation in Sydney

A streamlined option combining online booking with in-home measurement, advice, and installation support.

No Bull Blinds does what its name promises. It covers blinds, curtains, and shutters with a direct, no-nonsense approach. Customers can start online and then book a free measure and quote; its process is designed to move from measurement and product selection into installation without a traditional commission-led sales visit.

The installer-led process is the draw. The company says a qualified installer measures the windows and helps customers choose fabrics and solutions, and that this is often the same person who later installs the blinds. That gives buyers in-home guidance without the conventional salesperson-led consultation model.

Strengths:

  • A clear, honest brand approach that suits homeowners who know what they want
  • Reasonable breadth across blinds, curtains, and shutters
  • Free measure-and-quote process with installer guidance on fabrics and solutions
  • Online booking alongside professional measurement and installation

Trade-offs:

  • The model is installer-led rather than built around a traditional salesperson-led consultation
  • Free installation is subject to order-value and service-area conditions
  • Showroom visits are by appointment
  • Service availability varies by location

Best for: Buyers who want a streamlined process combining online booking, in-home measurement, product guidance, and installation.

#5. CAS Blinds – Best for Buyers Choosing Between DIY Ordering and Professional Sydney Installation

A flexible option combining online DIY ordering with professional measurement and installation in Sydney.

CAS Blinds combines an e-commerce route for custom blinds and curtains with an in-home service in Sydney. Buyers can research and order online, or book a free measure and quote with professional installation, giving both self-directed and full-service routes.

That flexibility is the main distinction for precision-focused projects. DIY customers remain responsible for their own measurements, while Sydney customers can use the company’s professional measure-and-install service instead. The choice makes it suitable for both self-measured projects and buyers who would rather put measurement and fitting in professional hands.

Strengths:

  • Online DIY ordering alongside professional Sydney measurement and installation
  • A wide custom range browsable online
  • Free measure-and-quote service available for Sydney customers
  • Useful for buyers who want to choose between self-installation and professional fitting

Trade-offs:

  • Professional measure and installation are limited to the Sydney service area
  • DIY orders still place measurement accuracy with the buyer
  • Customers outside the professional service area may need to use delivery and self-installation routes
  • Complex projects are better matched to its measure-and-quote route than its DIY workflow

Best for: Buyers who want either a self-directed online route or professional measurement and installation in Sydney.

#6. Curtain and Blind Co – Best for NSW Homeowners Wanting a Direct-to-Consumer Online Custom Blinds Experience

A lean, direct-to-consumer online retailer for straightforward window blinds and self-directed buyers.

Curtain and Blind Co runs an online-first, direct-to-consumer model with an NSW focus, giving buyers a custom blind range they can order without a showroom visit. The lower-overhead structure can translate into competitive pricing, and for homeowners with straightforward, standard-dimension window requirements, the process is refreshingly simple.

As with any online-first provider, the caveat is guidance. In-home consultation and installation support are less prominent, so the workflow leans on you to get the measurements right and manage the fit. That’s fine for a self-directed purchaser with regular windows; it’s less reassuring for complex multi-room installations or unusual shapes.

Strengths:

  • A practical option for buyers with standard-dimension windows
  • An online process that suits self-directed purchasers
  • An NSW focus that keeps product and service context relevant
  • A lower-overhead model that can mean competitive pricing

Trade-offs:

  • A more self-directed process, less suited to buyers who want hands-on guidance
  • Limited suitability for non-standard windows or complex multi-room work
  • In-home consultation and installation support are less prominent than with specialists
  • Product breadth may be narrower than full-service competitors

Best for: NSW homeowners with standard windows who are comfortable with a self-directed, direct-to-consumer purchase.

#7. Carpet Court – Best for Homeowners Bundling Blinds with Broader Flooring or Home-Improvement Packages

A convenient generalist for renovation projects where blinds are one line item among many.

Carpet Court is an established national brand best known for flooring, with blinds offered as part of a broader home-improvement range. Its genuine strength is convenience: a wide showroom network makes in-person browsing easy, and if you’re renovating and want flooring and window coverings sorted under one roof, bundling them can simplify a big project. For that specific scenario, it earns its place.

What it isn’t is a dedicated window furnishings specialist. The blinds offering sits within a generalist context, so you won’t find the same depth of customisation, product expertise, or installation precision that the specialists higher on this list deliver. If the fit and finish of your window coverings is the priority rather than the convenience of a package deal, look to a dedicated provider.

Strengths:

  • Convenient for renovations where blinds are one component of a larger scope
  • A wide showroom network that makes in-person browsing accessible
  • An established brand with broad product recognition
  • A genuine one-stop option for flooring-plus-blinds combinations

Trade-offs:

  • The blinds offering sits within a generalist home-improvement context, not a specialist one
  • Less depth of customisation and product expertise than dedicated specialists
  • In-home consultation and installation precision may not match specialist providers
  • Weaker fit for buyers whose primary focus is window furnishing quality

Best for: Homeowners bundling blinds into a broader flooring or renovation package where convenience outweighs specialist precision.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Difference Between Made-to-Measure and Off-the-Shelf Blinds in Sydney?

Made-to-measure blinds are manufactured to the exact dimensions of your specific window, giving a tight, gap-free fit and full control over fabric, opacity, and operation. Off-the-shelf blinds come in fixed standard sizes and are trimmed or fitted to approximate your window. For Sydney homes with non-standard or older windows, made-to-measure is almost always worth it for both light control and finish.

How Do I Choose Between Blinds, Curtains, and Shutters for My Sydney Home?

Match the product to the room’s job. Roller blinds – especially blockout roller blinds in bedrooms and sunscreen roller blinds in living areas – offer clean light control and a minimal look. Curtains add softness, insulation, and drama, and suit formal or high-ceiling spaces. Plantation shutters give durability, privacy, and adjustable ventilation, and lift a room’s value. A good in-home consultation will weigh these against your light, privacy, and style needs room by room.

What Should I Expect From a Professional In-Home Blind Measurement and Installation Service?

Expect a consultant to visit your home, take precise measurements of each window, discuss colour samples and product options, and provide a tailored quote. Once your custom order is manufactured, a fitter returns to install everything and confirm the operation. Because the same provider owns both the measurements and the fit, accountability for a precise result stays in one place – which is the core advantage over self-measured, online-only options. For corded products, installers also need to follow Australia’s mandatory installation standard.

What’s the Difference Between Double Curtains and Single Curtains, and Which Should I Choose?

Single curtains use one layer – typically either a sheer for softened daylight or a blockout for privacy and darkness. Double curtains combine both on a twin track: a sheer for daytime light diffusion and a blockout fabric drawn at night. Double curtains cost more and need adequate wall space around the window, but they deliver far greater flexibility over light and privacy across the day, which is why many Sydney homeowners choose them for bedrooms and main living areas.

How Long Does It Take to Get Custom Blinds or Curtains Made and Installed in Sydney?

Custom, made-to-measure window furnishings take longer than off-the-shelf products because each item is manufactured to your window’s exact specifications after the in-home measure. Timelines vary by product type, fabric availability, and order complexity, so confirm expected lead times with your provider at the consultation stage rather than assuming an off-the-shelf turnaround. If your project is time-sensitive, raise it early so the schedule can be planned around it.

The Verdict: Which Sydney Blinds Company Should You Choose?

The right provider depends entirely on your project and how much you want the fit-and-finish risk handled for you. Choose Sydney Blinds n Co. if you’re running a whole-home or multi-room project and want a broad range of custom blinds and curtains – plus shutters, awnings, and screens – delivered through expert in-home consultation and professional installation from a single accountable team. It’s our top pick under the criteria used here.

Choose Complete Blinds Sydney if you want that same dedicated, in-home specialist service on a project that doesn’t demand the very broadest product range. Choose No Bull Blinds if you want a streamlined process combining online booking, in-home measurement, product guidance, and installation. And if your window coverings are one part of a larger renovation, Carpet Court offers genuine bundling convenience – provided specialist precision isn’t your first priority.

Whatever your brief, the principle holds: with custom blinds and curtains Sydney homeowners are ultimately paying for accuracy, and the provider who owns your measurements and installation from start to finish is the one most likely to get it right the first time. Book an in-home consultation, ask how measurements and installation are handled, and let the fit speak for itself.

Balaji Goes Beyond the Familiar With The Vvaan, Bringing an Intriguing Tale of Mystery, Folklore and Faith to a Never-Seen-Before Scale

Forget everything you thought you knew about the supernatural on screen. The Vvaan has arrived with a trailer that is determined to throw the rulebook into the forest, quite literally.

After the teaser opened the gates to Vvaan, the trailer goes several steps further, revealing a sprawling, strange and rooted world of mystery and folklore where ancient beliefs and the supernatural collide. This is not a familiar horror template, nor is it mythology packaged in the conventional way we know or recognise. The Vvaan is attempting something far more ambitious – turning an intriguing tale of mystery, folklore and faith into an original big-screen spectacle that resonates with every nook and corner of the country and feels completely its own.

At the heart of this are Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah, whose first-time pairing gives the film its emotional pulse even as the story pulls them deeper into a world governed by rules that clearly existed long before they became a part of it. The trailer also expands the film’s sense of scale, moving from the forbidden forest and its ominous secrets to moments of action, wonder, faith and outright spectacle as we know how danger is just around the corner.

The conversation around The Vvaan has only grown louder since the teaser, and the trailer appears to have taken that anticipation several notches higher. From the fresh pairing to the film’s rooted folklore, supernatural intrigue and big-screen ambition, the response shows that the audiences are ready for something they haven’t quite seen before. The film’s ability to bring together mystery, adventure, action, humour, romance and Indian folklore mixed with the sheer novelty of its thought, reinforce that The Vvaan is a movie designed for the 70 mm screen. Ektaa Kapoor is taking another leap of faith with The Vvaan and if her last big swing into the supernatural, Bhooth Bangla, is anything to go by, this gamble could have another big box-office payoff waiting at the end of it.

And right now, that may be the biggest talking point here. Indian cinema has seen horror franchises, mythological sagas and fantasy adventures but rarely has a film attempted to bring all these ingredients together through the prism of a Indian folk legend and make it feel contemporary, theatrical and unapologetically massy. Once you are through with the nailbiting trailer, you will be seated for the ride!

Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and Ektaa Kapoor for a commercial film that attempts to take Indian folklore into a new cinematic space. While its world is rooted in folklore and fantasy, the film brings together adventure, mystery and humour to shape itself as a complete family entertainer. The ambition extends beyond the film, with The Legend of Vvaan comic book already introducing audiences to the larger folklore surrounding its universe.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, The Vvaan stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.

The Vvaan arrives in cinemas on September 25, 2026, promising a big-screen fantasy folklore experience where the visuals, music, mystery and scale come together to create a world audiences will want to step into.

Sharing her thoughts, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary shared, “I’ve experienced reality television in different forms, but Rise & Fall Season 2 brings a whole new dimension to the game. The idea of going from being a Ruler to a Worker and having your position shaped by the choices you make, makes this experience especially exciting for me. Reality shows have taught me to trust my instincts, stay true to myself and play every moment as it comes, but this time, the power dynamics add an entirely different layer. I’m ready to step into the game, take on whatever position comes my way and see how far I can rise.”

Swara Bhasker added, “I’ve always been someone who wears her opinions on her sleeve, so entering a game like Rise & Fall Season 2 is going to be quite an experience. The show brings together personalities with very different perspectives, and when power and strategy come into play, I’m sure those differences will make for some fascinating dynamics. I’m excited to see how it all unfolds.”

Expressing his excitement about being part of the show Karan Patel remarked, “People have seen me play different characters and tell stories through television all these years, but Rise & Fall Season 2 gives me the chance to enter a completely different arena as myself. What excites me is the competitive side of it having to make a move, back your decision and keep pushing yourself when the game shifts. I’m looking forward to embracing that challenge and giving this game everything I’ve got.”

Shehzad Poonawalla said, “My life and journey has been synonymous with rise and fall. Literally this show espouses my journey and even as one chapter ends – a new chapter in life begins with its own set of challenges and opportunities. Rise & Fall Season 2 feels like a particularly interesting innings for me. I’ve always enjoyed spaces where there is room for a strong point of view and this game brings together people with very different perspectives and ways of looking at things but they must know by now I have zero tolerance for those who try to belittle Bharat and its history. It will be interesting to see how absolute strangers walk into a situation where they have to ally at times or be on opposite sides at other times. On a lighter note – I’m glad I don’t have to pay rent for the next 6 weeks!”

Produced by Banijay Asia, MX original Rise & Fall Season 2, is sponsored by Lux Nitro as Special partner and Mallcom India as Safety Partner. The show will stream for free from 26th September, every day at 12 PM, exclusively on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app, refreshed with a new identity – MX Player by Prime Video, India’s leading free, premium, ad-supported video streaming service, available across mobile devices, Connected TVs, the Amazon shopping app, and Fire TV.

Ravie Dubey backs Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram amid casting criticism for Ramayana

Ravie Dubey, who plays Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana, has praised his co-star Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram. Ravie called Ranbir “simply the best we have” and spoke about his dedication, work ethic and humble nature.

Ranbir’s casting as Lord Ram has received mixed reactions on social media. However, Ravie believes the actor is the right person for the role. In an interview with Variety India, he said, “I think Ranbir is simply the best we have. He is a superstar of epic proportions, but what has stayed with me even more is the human being and the artiste I have witnessed at close range.”

Ravie also described being part of Ramayana as an “extraordinary moment”. He said that he has tried to keep his personal ambitions aside while working on the film because he sees the project as something bigger than individual achievements.

“With this film, I have constantly reminded myself that the larger purpose of all of us coming together, and that includes me, is to bring glory to Shri Ram’s name,” he shared. He added that whenever thoughts of ambition or achievement came to his mind, he reminded himself to focus on “surrender”.

Ravie had earlier spoken about Ranbir’s dedication to the role and revealed that the actor had made several personal sacrifices for the film. Speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia last year, Ravie said that the project had deeply influenced everyone involved.

“All of us did, including Ranbir Kapoor. He has sacrificed so much for this film. This feels more like a yagya. We all did everything in our power to stay true to these characters in how we behave, react, and even speak,” he said.

Meanwhile, the makers recently released the first song from Ramayana, titled Jai Jai Ram. Composed by AR Rahman, written by Kumar Vishwas and sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, the song was released on September 14. It features several important moments from Lord Ram’s life, including his wedding to Sita and his reunion with Bharat.
