NIRMOOHA’S FASHION STORY WAS ALL ABOUT FEMININE FASHIONABLE LOOKS AT LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FDCI.

The ‘Nirmooha’ label brought an artistic blend to fashion at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.
The ‘Nirmooha’ label by Preeti Jaiin Nainutia showcased this season. An unusual geometric exuberance on the ramp that could prove a favourite with buyers.
The collection, quaintly titled “Matrix” for the Fall/Winter 2023/24 season however revolved around a linear story.
The colours appeared to be slightly decadent but rich in shades as glowing emerald, stunning amethyst, imposing jade, regal ruby, muted carbon, and neutral eggshell whites, came together in perfect harmony.
The ‘Nirmooha’ signature prints were very much evident to highlight the collection. This season though, the designer preferred to play with a defused version of abstract patterns that were overlaid with striking linear graphics.
Preeti aimed at the ready-to-wear category, which could take the wearer. From signature work wear to glam party time options when the sun sinks down the horizon.
Men’s wear offered shimmering shirts, a shorts/shirt /jacket trio. As well as some striking robes to make that fashionable impact.
Women’s wear was as dressy, and featured a glittering trench coat and a two-piece suit with a jacket that emphasised the wide lapels.
Looking stunning, lovely Bollywood star, Tamannaah Bhatia ended the show on a high note. As she glided down in a slinky, black figure hugging, halter gown with silver abstract motifs.
Tamannaah Bhatia added,
“I’ve had the most collaborative experience at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI. It was lovely walking this time for Preeti’s label Nirmooha. I am so glad she thought of me. Preeti understands how everybody is different and she has given every piece that extra bit of detail. I loved what everyone was wearing, all the outfits are wearable andcomfortable, yet very glam.”
The “Matrix” collection by Preeti Jaiin Nainutia for her ‘Nirmooha’ label had distinct touches of the art deco movement. That will appeal to discerning fashion followers, who wish to explore new avenues of fashion in 2023.
Preeti Jaiin Nainutia said,
“This collection is very close to my heart. It’s a perfect treasure of ready-to-wear styles. Be it signature work wear, party silhouettes or the story of an evening glory. It was a great experience to present this special collection at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI, as well. So glad to have Tamannaah walk for me, she looked stunning.”
RANNA GILL’S COLLECTION WAS AN ODE TO TEXTURES AND HUES AT LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FDCI

Ranna Gill’s vibrant, colourful, effervescent collection titled “Casa dei Fiori”. It set the ramp on fire with textures and hues at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.
Prints have always been Ranna’s leitmotif and this season too, the designer ensured that her signature patterns were the cynosure of all eyes as her swoon-worthy prints were inspired by the natural beauty of the blooming landscapes. For lovers of nature and fashion the vibrant and dazzling florals created a fashion fantasy.
There were colours inspired by the dark botanicals of the lush gardens, while cheerful coral bouquets captured the beauty of a sun kissed summer’s day.
Ranna’s silhouettes were transformed into great stories of classic and modern shapes. From breezy, maxi dresses. The looks moved to chic coordinated set, blossomed into the most extravagant Cinderella ball gown skirts and then onto shimmering sequinned gowns. The dazzling 3D floral embroidery ensured that there was enough glitz, glamour and drama in the collection.
“Flowers never fail to bring a smile to my face. They are full of life, love, and femininity. Each flower is unique in its colour, shape, and characteristics; much like every woman.
Casa deiFiori celebrates the gentle power of flowers through vibrant prints, embroideries, and elegant silhouettes. The name comes from my travels through Italy, where I cherished my time amidst sprawling estates with cobbled stone roads, manicured lawns, and dazzling gardens,” said Ranna Gill.
The stunning off-shoulder evening gown with amazing 3D flowers made a grand entry. While the appliquéd flowers cascading down an evening gown was a great look.
To add more Italian flavour, a ruffled blouse with a swirling lehenga made an interesting fusion offering.
Glamorous Karisma Kapoor was the perfect showstopper when she strode down the runway in a glittering, backless, gown, embellished with 3D embroidery and fabric tassels. The dazzling ornate jacket was the dramatic accompaniment that completed the look.
Karishma Kapoor added,
“It was fantastic walking the ramp for Ranna Gill at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI. I love her clothes, she’s an icon. The outfit I wore is glamorous, stylish and yet comfortable.”
For fashionistas who want large doses of romance, elegance and feminine flair in their wardrobes. Ranna Gill’s “Casa dei Fiori” had everything their hearts will desire.
