“With thousands of children being born every day and the death rate coming down, the population has lost its balance and the effects of the stress on the well-being of the planet.” Says Actress Neha Bhasin. She adds,” This is a severe problem with the world, and we must start paying heed to it before we land up in more significant trouble. Adoption is a good idea for curbing the population, and if people want to share their love, they can do so when kids who are already in the world and waiting for a family.”
The 11th July or World Population Day campaign every year increases the knowledge and skills of people worldwide regarding their reproductive health and family planning.
This year’s World Population Day theme is A world of 8 billion: Towards a resilient future for all – Harnessing opportunities and ensuring rights and choices for all.
