It is with sadness we share Indian Chef Floyd Cardoz has passed away due to complications from the Coronavirus.

Chef Floyd tested positive for the Coronavirus on March 18th. He recently returned from India where he had been filming with Aziz Ansari for Netflix series, ‘Ugly Delicious‘.

Born in Mumbai, India, Chef Floyd has a culinary journey which will forever inspire many.

He successfully launched well-acclaimed restaurants Tabla, Pao Wala and Bombay Bread Bar in New York.

More recently, Chef Floyd was co-owner of two much loved restaurants in Mumbai, India: The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro. Had also launched a third business, the Bombay Sweet Shop.

He is author of three must-have cookbooks: One Spice, Two Spice, Tiffin and (my personal favourite!) Flavorwalla.

It’s important to note that along with doing the above, Chef Cardoz went on to win Season 3 of Bravo TVs, ‘Top Master Chef’.  He was also featured on, ‘Iron Chef’ ‘Rachel Ray’ and ‘Martha Stewart’ amongst many more acclaimed competitions and TV shows.
