English pop star Ed Sheeran is going to collaborate with Indian music star Armaan Malik on his 2022 track, “2Step”. After the ambitious project “Echo”, in which he collaborated with American producer KSHMR and K-pop star Eric Nam, this is the singer’s second overseas endeavor.
When asked about the project, Malik exclaimed, “I’m beyond excited to be featured on this version of ‘2Step’ with Ed Sheeran!”. Speaking about Ed Sheeran, Malik stated, “He’s always been such an inspiration, and I’m a big fan of his music and incredible songwriting. This is a huge moment not only for me, but also for other Indian artists too. I genuinely believe that this will be the beginning for a lot more collaborations of this nature.”
The song, “2Step” by Ed Sheeran, featuring Armaan Malik, was made available on all music streaming services on June 7th, 2022. This song appears on Ed Sheeran’s fifth studio album, “equals (=)”, and was written by Sheeran, David Hodges, Andrew Wotman, and Louis Bell.
