Punjabi Folk artist Gajjan Singh releases 'Hanju', Produced by Chiraq Singhs!

When I first heard Gajjans voice I was instantly reminded of the legends Surjit Bindrakhia and Kuldeep Manak. That classic Punjabi folk sound is what Chicago based Punjabi singer-songwriter Gajjan Singh is here to represent and bring!

Gajjan came to America at the age of 11 and quickly discover that in life is necessary to be the best version of yourself at all time. 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Nas, Young Jezzy, Kuldeep Manak, Sukshinder Shinda, and Surjit Bhindrakhia are a few of Gajjans inspirations. Music gave him a way to cope with stress with unfortunate situations such as being homeless. It gave him inspiration to delve deeper into his journey as an artist with songs such as ‘American Jatt’, ‘Street Life’ and ‘Mirror’, to name a few.

Gajjans latest song ‘Hanju’ is produced by ChiRaq Singhs Entertainment and showcases his vocal abilities beautifully! He says, ‘Hanju’ is not only close to my heart, it’s a piece of my heart which I’ve shared with the world.’ Gajjans strong spirit, determination and desire to inspire others is commendable and it was wonderful to ask him a few quick questions:

What’s your All-time favorite food?

My favorite meal would have to be steak with vegetables with sea food.

Do you prefer makki di roti or plain roti with saag?

With my saag I do prefer makki di roti with onions and hot pepper (Me too!! :).

Comedy movies or suspense?

More into non-fiction movies.

Any words of wisdom you would like to share with your fans?

Word of wisdom would have to be “you need to organize your self to have an organization”.
