In her first cookbook, Jasmine shares recipes for delicious Indian appetizers and chutneys with East African influences intended to inspire both novice and experienced chefs to experiment in the kitchen and ultimately bring their culinary creations to life. Jasmine launched JD In the Kitchen, a food and lifestyle website where she shares advice on making time for family meals in addition to sharing her simple recipes. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Jasmine began her career as an articling student in 2005 at Fireman Wolfe LLP. She became an associate at the same firm and as the firm transitioned over the years, she moved up in the ranks to named partner and today owns the firm Jasmine Daya & Co.
