Malala Attends Premiere Of POLITE SOCIETY And Is All Raves
Noted activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai attended the special London screening of the acclaimed action-comedy POLITE SOCIETY and was all raves! She called it “a clever and captivating film about the lengths sisters will go to protect each other and support their dreams” and noted that actresses Priya Kansara and Ritu Arya gave “dynamite performances.” Malala added that it was “so wonderful to see Nida Manzoor continue to share positive and complex portrayals of South Asian Muslim women.”
Following its World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, POLITE SOCIETY releases in theaters on April 28. Fans wanting to see the movie before anyone else can attend special sneak previews being held for one night only on Saturday evening April 22nd in cinemas nationwide.
