DRIZZLED- WINTER MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL 2019
Cape Town’s highly anticipated Winter Music and Food Festival Drizzled is back once again. This year Drizzled is bringing the winter vibes by keeping us warm with some sizzling good music and food! Many Capetonians eagerly await for some winter loving! Drizzled is Cape Town’s first Original Winter Music Festival. Taking place on Sunday, 28 July 2019 at Mason’s Press, Woodlands Road, Woodstock, Cape Town. You do not want to miss this!
Drizzled was launched in 2018 and has made waves across the city! This year, it is going to be done differently. A GAME CHANGER. Drizzled has taken action to bring more empowerment towards women in the industry. How? By celebrating female artists this winter. In solidarity of women’s month, Drizzled has curated an all female line-up! How insanely awesome is that? Women empowerment for the win!
Above all, the event is more than just a festival. This year, Drizzled aims to create more awareness around female artists and celebrating their work within the industry. They have formulated a campaign to embrace all women by using the hashtag #SoMuchBetta.
We have all certainly seen women being underrepresented and overlooked because of the usual patriarchal views attached to women in the industry. We are finally getting the chance to celebrate them in the best way possible! This one is for all the fabulously and amazingly talented sisters using their voices and musical talents to make a difference!
Who doesn’t love some good food and music in this weather? Likewise, this event brings together different genres of music and of course, we love to eat in the Mother City!
