Zayn Malik’s Version of “A Whole New World” From Disney’s “Aladdin” is here!
Zayn Malik’s much awaited version of “A Whole New World” for Disney’s Aladdin has hit streaming services. This revival of a Disney soundtrack classic is already going viral on the internet, with astounding positive responses from fans. In an accompanying video, Zayn and Zhavia walk around a city, with the pair sharing a duet on the iconic song of romance.
The entire soundtrack for the film will arrive on May 22nd, and features tracks from Will Smith, who has been cast as the Genie, and other stars of the film, including Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Naomi Scott (Jasmine).
“The selection of artists, producer and tonal direction was critical for the success of updating a classic song like this,” president of Walt Disney Studio’s Music & Soundtracks Mitchell Leib said in a statement. “Zayn’s vocals are like no other and his artistic imprint immediately brought a contemporary and diverse presence.”
