Dance Reality Show is a different ballgame – Arjun Bijlani!

During his growing up years Arjun Bijlani would often play Bollywood songs and dance in front of the mirror. Little did he realize that one day he’d get a chance to showcase his skills on a reality show stage. The actor, who has wowed the audience with his performance in shows like ‘Remix’, ‘Left Right Left’ and more recently, ‘Naagin’, is kicked about being a part of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.

For Arjun, dance was a way to entertain himself while growing up. However, when his family and friends noticed the spark in him, he was encouraged to take it up seriously. He says that performing on TV shows and at various award function has helped him hone his skills.

“What started as a fun activity later became a part of my profession and today, it’s my passion. That’s why I grabbed the opportunity when ‘Jhalak’ was offered to me,” he adds.

The young actor, who recently anchored an awards function in Spain, is being touted as one of the hot favorite contenders of the show.

He has been rehearsing for almost 10 hours every day. Despite niggling injuries, Arjun says he continues to practise his moves because he wants to showcase his full potential as a dancer.

“Though I have performed on television earlier, a dance reality show is a different ball game. So, I need to work harder,” he smiles.

 

“I’m grateful to those who encouraged me to pursue dance seriously. I don’t want to let down their faith in me. After all, I learnt early on that life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning to dance in the rain,” signs off Arjun.
