Eisha Singh shares that Janmashtami has always carried a special kind of warmth and positivity for her.
Talking about the festival, she says,
“Janmashtami is such a beautiful festival because it celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, but beyond the celebrations, it also reminds us of hope, love, faith and the importance of staying connected to our values. There is a beautiful energy around this festival, and I feel it brings a sense of happiness and positivity into everyone’s lives.”
Speaking about what makes the festival special, Eisha adds,
“I love how Janmashtami brings people together. Whether it is decorating the house, listening to Krishna bhajans, visiting temples or simply spending time with family, every little tradition adds to the festive feeling. There is something very innocent and joyful about seeing everyone participate in the celebrations, and I think these moments become beautiful memories that stay with us for a long time.”
Eisha further says that Lord Krishna’s teachings continue to remain relevant even today. She explains,
“For me, Krishna is not only associated with celebrations and festivities, but also with wisdom and the way he approached life. His teachings remind us to remain calm, do our duty sincerely and not lose ourselves in the result. In our lives, there are so many situations where we need that reminder, and Janmashtami gives us an opportunity to pause, reflect and take inspiration from those teachings.”
Talking about the festive spirit, Eisha says,
“The beauty of Janmashtami is that it has so much colour, music and celebration, but at the heart of it is devotion. I enjoy seeing how people celebrate with so much enthusiasm and happiness. The decorations, traditional outfits, music and the beautiful atmosphere all make the festival feel magical. At the same time, I believe the celebration becomes even more meaningful when we carry the values of kindness, love and positivity with us beyond the festival.”
Concluding her thoughts, Eisha says,
