Ishita Dixit is slowly making a name for herself on TV, and her role as Pari in the hit show Anupamaa has really connected with fans. With her strong presence and emotional depth, she makes the character relatable. Her story shows that having clear dreams, even when you’re young, can lead to a strong path.
Talking about when she realised her passion, Ishita shares that acting was never a sudden decision.
“I always wanted to become an actor because when I was 8 years old, I knew that I wanted to do acting. And slowly, I was inspired to become an actor,” she says.
That early clarity became the foundation of everything she pursued later.
She also credits her inspiration to two of the biggest names in the industry—Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan.
“Most of all, Alia Bhatt inspired me because I always used to hear from my surroundings that I look like her. Even when I went for an audition, I used to act like her. So I really like her. I really admire her work. She is the reason, and Shah Rukh Khan is the reason why I always wanted to become an actor,” she reveals.
Her admiration goes beyond just watching films. Ishita adds,
“On every birthday of mine, I go to Mannat and pray for wishes outside his house. They inspire me. So, I have always known that I want to become an actor.”
Before stepping into acting, Ishita explored a completely different path. She admits that she worked in events and even managed a resort for financial stability.
“My salary was good there, but I didn’t like it at all because I knew that I wanted to act and become an actor,” she shares honestly. That phase, though stable, made her realise that passion matters more than comfort.
Interestingly, Ishita believes she has a strong business instinct as well.
“If not acting, then it might be possible that I’ll be a businesswoman because I’m good at that, I know. I’m going to open my own brand very soon, along with acting, because I am interested in business,” she says.
She further adds with conviction,
“I really want to know what will happen in that. I can’t do a job under someone that’s for sure, I know.”
With clear goals, strong inspiration, and a willingness to take risks, Ishita Dixit continues to move forward with confidence – both as an actor and a budding entrepreneur.
