Smriti Irani remains one of India’s most formidable and far-reaching voices, whether in entertainment, public life, or on the global stage. Few journeys reflect such range and intensity. From television screens to policy tables, she continues to show up where conversations matter, shaping discourse with purpose and impact. Her return to television with Kyunki 2.0 wasn’t just a comeback; it became a moment of history, reaffirming her unique ability to move seamlessly between popular culture and leadership.

That same ability defines her work beyond entertainment. At Davos’ first Day, she engaged extensively with global leaders, policymakers, and changemakers. Speaking at the session “Strategic Leadership in the Bio-Revolution: Women Powering Innovation and Global Solutions,” she emphasised that global bio-revolution must be anchored in evidence-based policy and equitable participation. At the Market-Minded, Mission-Driven roundtable at #WEF2026, she engaged in an insightful exchange on scaling social enterprises sustainably, followed by her addressal at the Mobilising Leadership and Multistakeholder Action for Clean Air session.

Moments from these engagements were later shared by her office on social media, offering a glimpse into Day 1 of her impactful presence at Davos 2026.

A key highlight of the day was her interaction with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who praised the Alliance’s vision and extended an invitation to collaborate with the state government. The proposed partnership aims to empower nearly five lakh women by strengthening women-led enterprises and Self-Help Groups, transforming global commitments into measurable action at the grassroots level. The dialogue reinforced a shared belief that long-term investment in women’s entrepreneurship, skilling, and innovation is critical to sustainable and inclusive development.
