Mahhi Vij, who is currently in Lucknow to shoot for her next project, marking her comeback after nine years, is all excited about this new journey.
A source and close friend revealed,
“Mahhi is absolutely looking forward to this show. It’s set against a Muslim backdrop, and from the look to the feel, Mahhi has worked on every little detail. She had been waiting for the longest time for a script that would test her abilities as an actor and offer something different from the usual. So, when this came up, she immediately said yes.”
Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan plays the male lead in the show.
Tentatively titled Seher Hone Ko Hai, the series revolves around a mother-daughter relationship, with Mahhi playing the central role and the storyline unfolding around her character.
The source further added,
“Mahhi has been a wonderful mother to Tara, and when this subject came up, her maternal instincts instantly connected with it, the story felt like home to her.”
Mahhi Vij’s shows have always been iconic and carried meaningful messages or left a trail of emotions with the audience. We hope this show, too, leaves a strong mark and touches hearts all over again.
