Mangal Lakshmi is currently one of the top shows on television and is garnering love from audiences around the globe. At present, Mangal has just reunited with her son Akshat and once again crossed paths with Adit. Adit, meanwhile, is hoping to secure an investment from Kapil, who has been a steadfast supporter of Mangal during the last 6 months.
A recent promo teases Mangal’s return to the Saxena house, where the vile and conniving Saumya immediately questions her presence. Mangal, unfazed, declares that nothing can keep her away from her children and Kusum. Viewers are eager to see how Mangal addresses Kusum’s loneliness and emotional turmoil, and how their unbreakable bond rekindles. After all, they remain television’s most beloved saas-bahu duo.
We also wonder whether the truth about Sudesh will come to light again, and if his return is on the horizon.
Another pressing storyline is Ishana’s transformation under Saumya’s influence. Mangal is yet to discover the extent of Ishana’s defiance and how far she’s strayed under the latter’s toxic guidance. With so many layers unfolding, fans are also intrigued by the angle involving Kapil and his mother, Pratima. Both characters are good, and Pratima has even expressed a desire to see Mangal as her daughter-in-law. As Adit continues to undervalue Mangal and remains blindly swayed by Saumya, the audience can’t help but wonder, could a future with Kapil be in the cards for Mangal?
Of course, Mangal has a lot to resolve before making any such decision.
She has emerged as one of the most inspiring characters on television today, brought to life through the exceptional performance of Deepika Singh. Naman Shaw continues to impress as Adit, a character we occasionally sympathize with, until he shares the screen with Saumya. Speaking of Saumya, our intense dislike for her is a testament to Jiya Mustafa’s powerful portrayal of the character.
Urvashi Upadhyay shines as Kusum, a role that has etched its place in viewers’ hearts. Recent scenes featuring Ruhan Kapoor as Akshat have also stood out, showcasing his growth. And let’s not forget one of the show’s most delightful aspects—Mangal’s mother Shanti, who brings much-needed comic relief. Sangeeta Panwar deserves full credit for infusing the character with such charm and humor.
