Balaji Telefilms Yeh Hai Chahatein is one of the most successful television shows, and the show’s first pairing of Rudraksh and Preesha enjoyed a massive fan following. Something the fans of the show are well aware of is the link between chai (tea) and #RuSha! So why not celebrate them this International Tea Day?
Abrar Qazi who played Rudraksh, and Sargun Kaur Luthra who played Preesha, shared a sparkling on-screen chemistry and gave viewers many scenes and moments to cherish. The relationship between chai and the pair of Rudraksh and Preesha began in a behind-the-scenes online segment where Abrar was pretending to make chai.
Not long after, viewers got a beautiful scene of Rudraksh and Preesha having tea at a chai stall. Even though it was a dream sequence, it was absolutely beautiful to watch as the song ‘Shayad’ played in the background. This dream sequence went on to become quite an iconic scene!
And the connection between chai and RuSha became part of a hit-and-miss moment too!
It’s no surprise why everyone’s favourite beverage has become somewhat synonymous with Rudraksh and Preesha’s pair!
