Gul Khan and Star Plus’s ‘Imlie’ remains one of the most loved shows on our television screens. The show, now on the third generation sees Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy as Surya and Imlie.
In the current track, Imlie gets shot by protecting Surya from Raghu. A massive revelation will emerge that Agastya died by being mistaken for Surya. Surya breaks down seeing Imlie’s hospital in the condition showing a new shade of Surya. In the coming episodes Surya will be proposing Imlie for marriage which will not be met in the best way by Imlie who loved Agastya dearly.
The latest development is that the hit show is all set to take a revamp. Speaking to Sai Ketan Rao, he confirmed the news and revealed that,
“The family setting will be changing now as Surya’s family will make their entry into the show. This will bring a lot of new twists and turns to the story.”
This means that there is so much to look forward to on show! The Chaudhary family have certainly left their mark on viewers’ hearts, and it will now be exciting to embark on a new chapter with Surya’s family and learn more about his roots. It will also be interesting to see what new turn Surya and Imlie’s lives take upon the arrival of Surya’s family.
Sai Ketan Rao is doing a phenomenal job as Surya, his second role on the show, while Adrija Roy continues to impress as the bubbly and heartfelt Imlie.
Imlie airs every day at 8:30 p.m. on Star Plus in India and South Africa, 10 p.m. on Utsav Plus in the UK, and streams on Hulu in the US.
