This season, the concept lies in Parivaar (Family). All the contestants, the host, the judges, and of course, the audience are the Dance Deewane Parivaar! The set also has a home theme, which helps make the show unique, and gives contestants the opportunity to take their performances to the next level. A long extending stage to the judges, the curly staircase, a slope, and even an entry door, truly elevate the performances and the homely feel of the show. The interactions between the host, judges and contestants also take place like a real family.
Real Passion
The contestants come from different parts of India, and each has a beautiful story behind them. The determination to live their dreams of dancing and changing their lives is inspiring. Many of the contestants are also challenging societal norms and naysayers from the regions they come. It is great to see shows becoming more inclusive and shattering stereotypes.
The Judges and Host
Dance Deewane is not Dance Deewane if it does not have Madhuri Dixit Nene, and the dancing queen returns as a judge this season. This time, she is joined by Suniel Shetty, who makes his debut as a judge on television. The two complement each other very well and make the perfect heads of the family. Trust Bharti Singh to make the atmosphere vibrant as she hosts this season and brings in the laughs! Currently, Bharti has Suniel Shetty’s credit card and has been swiping it non-stop! We wonder how that will end up!
Eventful Specials
Dance Deewane brings in a theme each weekend, sure to captivate the audience. The first week introduced the family members, while the next saw the contestants of Bigg Boss 17 coming to cheer on the family members as they performed. We cannot wait for more innovative specials for the rest of the season.
Dance Deewane airs on Colors TV every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 p.m. in India and South Africa, 9 p.m. ET & 10 p.m. PT in the USA, and 9 p.m. in the UK. The show is produced by Dreams Vault Media.
