Happy Birthday to the graceful and charismatic Shiny Doshi!

Once again, we celebrate another birthday from the world of television, and this time, it’s none other than Shiny Doshi! The actress celebrates her birthday today, the 15^th of September. As we celebrate her special day, let’s look back at some of her memorable works!

 

 

The actress made her debut in 2013 in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saraswatichandra’, where she played the role of Kusum alongside Varun Kapoor, Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget. In 2015, she portrayed the titular role of Sarojini where she got to share screen space with critically acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi. The talented actress returned to Zee TV for the third season of the popular ‘Jamai Raja‘ where she was paired opposite Ravi Dubey. She was also part of the weekly historical series Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, where she played Radha.

While the actress had enough feathers in her cap, she further cemented herself as a household name in 2021 when she began portraying the role of Dhara Pandya in Star Plus’s ‘Pandya Store‘. The actress shone in the challenging role of an eldest daughter-in-law and sister-in-law who always worked on keeping her family together in the age of nuclear families. The show is one of the most successful shows to date, and her character is undoubtedly one of, if not the most iconic bhabhi (sister-in-law) of television.

Shiny Doshi has been part of shows across genres, and we cannot wait to see her back on screen soon.
