Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star Pragati Mehra aka Mahima, who has a reputation for taking down trolls like a boss lady, was yet again seen calling out a troll for her hateful comment on Co star Jay Soni and tagging Mehra in troll filled dm messages.
It happened when Pragati was going through her Instagram dm where she found a trail of hateful messages, which she took to her Instagram saying,
“So I decided to go through my DMs today as its kinda difficult to check it everyday and I came across unseen tags on stories filled with hate for an actor in garb of hate for a character
I did delete tons of stories that were posted..at the end of the day its your page & understanding
I can’t control that even if its warped, but then i came across an absolutely unnecessary comment for a colleague on a story I posted And i was compelled to respond To make fans understand
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACTOR -the REAL &
CHARACTER -the REEL
and if you do not understand that its speaks volumes about your daftness. I am choosing words like ‘daft’ coz it’s stupid”
She continued stating,
“As fans you are entitled to like/love /hate a character… but when fans can not figure the line between actor and character its disheartening.
You may hate a character but hating an actor and here making a personal comment is completely not needed. Harshad is a nice guy and so is Jay. Both are equally friendly and well mannered.
Audience & fans do not know them .They know Abhimanyu
& Abhinav – and thats fiction.
So all i can say is dont get confused and make fiction your reality!”
Mehra concluded saying,
“I could have blurred the name of the fan/fan page/ handle but wanted to showcase-the daftness & venom one spill for no reason at all!
