“I think we have come a long way when it comes to education in India. And the best part is that a good percentage of girls’ education has increased in recent years. I remember that a few years ago I was the brand ambassador of School Chalo Abhiyan where my primary motto was to promote education for girl children. This is a really good step in what education in India has been. Another thing that I am very fascinated by is rewriting the history books and keeping in mind the glorification and the beauty and pride of India because for so many years we have been reading history books written by westerners according to their perspective. So I am very happy about this step taken by our education department,” she says.

About working with her former co-star Aniruddh yet again and that too on a different project, Paridhi begins by saying it’s always wonderful to work with someone like him, who is very professional and dedicated.

“He brings a lot of things to the table. He is a perfectionist and wants everything to be perfect. I am glad that he put my name across for co-hosting because while shooting for Patiala Babes we had a lot of discussions and he got to know about my education background and my inclination towards the education world. It was fun working with him as usual,” she smiles.

Hosting is very different from acting.

“Hosting is altogether a different experience than acting. Even though I enjoy acting, hosting was also an amazing experience but more real and it needed quick responses, presence of mind and time. I also enjoyed it because there’s a lot of brain involved every minute. So being a MBA, I am really glad that I took this project up and could be a part of this edutainment show,” adds the actor, who was last seen in Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei by  Nilanjana Purkayasstha.

So what’s keeping you away from daily soaps?

“Nothing, I am just waiting for a good opportunity to come my way. Meanwhile I’m doing plays and doing acting workshops. I have been waiting for good opportunities in web series as well. So, let’s hope for the best,” she adds.
