“Bigg Boss 16” is entering its final week, and the top six housemates are fighting for their spot in the finale! Outside the house, fans have been voting and trending online and on social media for their favorite contestants.
Choudhary’ fans are conducting their last mega trend of the season, and have broken this season’s Twitter records. The trend crossed one million tweets in under three hours, and the tagline ‘ARISING WINNER PRIYANKA’ has completed over 7 million tweets.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who is considered to be a frontrunner for the finale, rose to fame from the television show “Udaariyaan”, where she played the role of Tejo Singh Virk, and was paired opposite Ankit Gupta, who was also in “Bigg Boss 16”. Choudhary has an extremely strong fan base, who call themselves the #PriyankaPaltan, as well as fans of both her and Gupta’s bond, who call the duo #Priyankit.
Choudhary’s fanbase is very active on Twitter, and have held trends for her since the beginning of the season. They were the first fanbase from any contestant in the season to cross a 5 million + trend for Choudhary. She has also been on the Ormax Most Popular Bigg Boss Hindi Contestant list from the beginning of the season, and topped it last week.
Her fanbase also voted for two months to crown Choudhary as the MyGlamm Face of the Season winner, in which she beat all of the other female contestants of the season.
