The once popular, youth based show, Miley Jab Hum Tum is going off air on November 20th!
Miley Jab Hum Tum started about three years ago with a youthful cast and fun filled story about two different sisters from the little town of Morena moving to the big city to live with their too cool cousins. The story was about sweet and shy Gunjan, her outgoing loud mouth big sister, Nupur, and how they adjusted to their new lives in the city where everything was so different. Not only did the girls make it their home but they made great friends and found love along the way.
It was rising in popularity when they decided to take one of the protagonists, Rati Pandey out of the show and then had a 3 year leap. Since then the ratings have been going down. Rati was brought back due to audience demand which did manage to help the show a bit, but clearly not enough.
Though the show will be ending soon, it will be ending on a happy note. A source from the show said,
“We are working on an interesting track right now. In the coming episodes audiences will get to see a lot of drama but a happy one. Today we are shooting for a special song sequence where Samrat proposes to Gunjan in style. Samrat will be seen wooing his lady love singing ‘Aao na’ from the movie Kyun Ho Gaya Na. Gunjan will accept his proposal. Meanwhile good news awaits Nupur and Mayank too! Nupur will realize she is pregnant and this will make the couple happy.”
The last episode will be on November 20th. The show will be later replaced by Sanjay Sarkar’s Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein on November 22nd. There are also rumors that Milley Jab Hum Tum might be back with another season, so fans keep your fingers crossed!
