Vivek Oberoi blew our mind as Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the movie PM Narendra Modi Biopic.
Vivek Oberoi has now bagged the rights to make a film on Balakot airstrike to salute the bravery of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The film will go on the floor later this year and will be shot in Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, and Agra.
This film will be a trilingual – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Vivek has acquired permission to make the film. The casting of the project is on including for the roles of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman & Squadron Leader Minty Agarwal.
Minty Agarwal guided IAF’s interception to destroy Pakistan’s fighter jets.
For those who don’t know, after the Pulwama Attacks, the IAF carried out airstrikes which led to capture of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Abhinandan was felicitated with the Vir Chakra award. Minty was felicitated with Yudh Seva Medal.
Vivek Oberoi said that as a patriotic Indian it is his duty to highlight about The Indian Army and that they go through.
The movie will be about the bravery of the soldiers like Abhinandan who went behind the enemy lines and did what needed to be done.
While speaking about his previous release, PM Narendra Modi, Vivek had said:
“This film has been the most exciting yet difficult journey for me. Playing the part of the serving Prime Minister of our country is a challenge in itself. Nobody can ever get into his shoes, Mr. Modi is the Hero of the film and Nation. I and the whole team working on the film has just tried our bit to show the inspiring journey.”
Directed by Omung Kumar, PM Narendra Modi the film was about the journey of Narendra Modi. It is from his humble beginnings to becoming the Prime Minister of India.
