Movie: PM Narendra Modi
Duration: 2hrs 16min
Director: Omung Kumar
As the title suggests, PM Narendra Modi Biopic is a biography of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi which is being portrayed by Vivek Oberoi.
It traces the journey of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi from being a chaiwala to being a politician without money and background.
Vivek Oberoi has made a comeback in Bollywood with this biopic. He has turned out to be a winner in the movie. From his acting to his personality to his accent, everything is on point. Each and every character in the movie from Manoj Joshi, who plays the character of Amit Shah to Akshat R Saluja, who portrays the role of Joshi, are at their best. When it came to acting, nothing went wrong in the movie. Kudos to casting director Mukesh Chhabra for that.
From Modi’s childhood in the 1950s to his meteoric rise in the corridors of politics, as a four-time serving Chief Minister of Gujarat and to finally taking over India in 2014, everything is shown in detail in the movie.
The film overall shows Modi in a good light but we wish they could have also shown about the downfall and the controversies that had happened. Besides the Godhra riots, the movie isn’t much focused on any other controversy. The background music and songs will give you a patriotic feel.
After Modi winning the 2019 elections and again becoming the Prime Minister of India, there is a win-win situation for the movie.
