On the success of Shadaa, the Punjabi munda said,
“I had seen the film and I expected that audiences would like it, but business and all I don’t understand I have not produced a film yet. But I would like to produce a Punjabi film, I have seen they earn a lot of money and I feel I want it too (laughs).”
When asked about learning for the film he said,
“Honestly I have not learnt anything for the film, I just did what I was asked to do. Yes, I learnt that it is called spoof comedy (chuckles).”

“I just take care that the typical, brother or friend role that the Sardar actors get I don’t like to do that. Whenever a comedy film is comes by I just see to it that I should not be laughed at. Making fun of yourself or cracking jokes is one thing but I won’t want to get embarrassed.”
When asked about comedy being his forte and if this film was tougher than Udta Punjab, he said,
“I like it, but of course one has to think about the scene, and I don’t want to repeat the things that people have already seen from me.”

“Udta Punjab was tougher film, this film was easy, not just for playing a cop but in general.”
When asked about actors in yesteryears and comedy at that time Diljit said,
“Everything has changed now, not just acting earlier everything was done by so much compassion be it acting or anything. For example earlier we didn’t use to buy clothes, mothers use to stich clothes for us, it had her blessing, but now everything has changed.”
