There is no better living example of this statement in modern day Bollywood than the self-made Taaha Shah. An outsider to the industry, Taaha Shah was born to Indian parents in the UAE on November 19, 1987. A man of exceptional character, Taaha emulates the significance of this day with his very presence. Known across the globe as International Men’s Day, November 19 celebrates the achievements of hard working men.
Like most industries, one’s success in the Indian Film Industry is said rely heavily on who you know rather than what you know. In cases such as this, it becomes nearly impossible to reach the pinnacle of success without hard work, determination and talent. Following the footsteps of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, Taaha Shah has garnered a reputable name for himself in the industry despite not being a “star kid” . Fighting the odds, Taaha enhanced his art through training earning him his debut film – Yash Raj Films’ ‘Luv Ka The End’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Since then, the young lad has over five major films to his name, three of which have been produced by Bollywood’s powerhouse producer Karan Johar.
His latest film, ‘Ranchi Diaries’, acted as proof of his versatility as an actor when audiences witnessed his portrayal of Pinku – the godfather. The best part is, this is just the beginning of his spectacular career. There is definitely more where that came from!
