The second Friday of June saw a major box office clash between Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, and Main Vaapas Aaunga. Despite the presence of bigger stars and strong backing for the competing films, it was Haunted 3D that managed to take the lead at the ticket window.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt and starring Chetna Pande alongside Mimoh Chakraborty, the horror film outperformed Kangana Ranaut’s Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, which featured Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari.
In an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Chetna Pande expressed her happiness and spoke about how special this moment is for her. The actress shared that clashing with a film led by someone she admires deeply did bring a sense of pressure, but it was also a moment of pride to be part of such a competitive release window.
She further highlighted that the success of Haunted 3D holds deep emotional value for her, especially as someone who has built her journey in the industry without any backing. Being able to stand alongside established names at the box office is something she considers a significant achievement.
