As Diwali is just a few days away, the actress shares how she will be celebrating the festival, and also expresses her support for the recent measures being taken to protect the environment on Diwali.
Talking about how she will be celebrating the occasion this year, Vahbiz shares,
“It’s my first Diwali without my parents in town. I’ll be in Mumbai, celebrating with friends, attending gatherings, and enjoying lots of yummy food.”
Everyone knows that Vahbiz is also quite a fashion icon. She shares that Diwali is a great time to embrace traditional looks.
“I truly enjoy Diwali, especially dressing in Indian attire like saris and lehengas. I usually wear Indian clothing most of the time, so it’s a great opportunity to flaunt traditional wear. While I don’t play cards, I’m a social and friendly person who loves attending all the festive parties. It’s a vibrant time of the year.”
The Supreme Court recently passed measures to reduce the negative impact of fireworks on the environment. Welcoming this, Vahbiz shares,
“I fully support the Supreme Court’s decision. The city gets excessively crowded during festivals, negatively impacting the environment and contributing to global warming. Banning firecrackers is necessary, and people should stay informed through the news, fostering greater awareness.”
