Yami Gautam has impressed fans with her wonderful perfomance in her previous films. This time she is all set to do the same with her upcoming film Bala. The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.
Recently, while Yami in conversation with the media, Yami was questioned about how different her character in Bala is as compared to her in real life.
To this she responded,
“I am very honored with the characted and I might sound to modest in the film but I want to give this credit to Amar. Its too early to say and I am sure you guys will watch it. So the thing is every character who is ready for film has some or the other different thing from you. But the whole idea is there are lot of layers in the character. She represent in the film is a mirror of what society actually thinks about a total perception.”
On adding to this she said,
“So it’s very important because its not always about being bubbly, energetic or being spunky and a little film. She is a bubble in her head she is a tik tok star, she is a small town girl. She has her own flair and she is very film but beyond than that she is voicing out something which what society thinks about your perception of looking and for me that’s the reason why it’s really important.”
The story revolves around a guy who suffers from premature balding and Yami plays Ayushman’s lead love interest in the film.
Saurab Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi and Seema Pahwa are in the film as supporting roles. Mumbai and Kanpur the film have been shot. . The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films Production, is all set to hit the theatres on November 8, 2019 with select previews on November 7.
On the work front, apart from Bala, Yami’s next project is Vinod Bachchan’s Ginny Weds Sunny, with Vikrant Massey.
