Radhika Apte has gained popularity across the independent, commercial as well as international sectors.
She has impressed fans with her performances in films like AndhaDhun, Parched, Phobia, Padman and many more. Radhika is a vivacious new-age artist whose acumen on the entertainment industry is sought after.
In a recent interview with a leading magazine, she revealed that she got approached for some international projects.
She said,
“I got audition calls for the new James Bond film and for Star Wars. I taped it at home and sent it across.”
She continued,
“The very fact that they are looking at actors like me, and not restricting it to a certain kind of actor, is good news.”
Radhika has become the face of OTT for the masses. On the work front, Radhika will be next seen in the film Raat Akeli Hai alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui for which the actress has already finished the first schedule shoot in Lucknow. Also, Apte is doing a project on real incidents from World War II. She will be playing the role of a spy in the film.
Apte will star in Apple’s international drama series Shantaram starring Charlie Hunnam in the lead. Joining Radhika is Richard Roxburgh who has starred in films like Moulin Rouge and Mission Impossible 2.
