Priyanka Chopra on February 26 had tweeted a patriotic and congratulatory message for the Indian armed forces following India’s response to the terror attack in Pulwama.

She wrote, “Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces.”

For this, a Pakistani member in the audience says to PC at the Beautycon Los Angeles:

“You are United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and you are encouraging nuclear war in Pakistan. There is no way you are in this… As a Pakistani, millions of people, like me, have supported you in your business.”

She said:

“I have many, many friends from Pakistan and I am from India. War is not something I’m really fond of but I am patriotic, so I’m sorry if I hurt sentiments to people who do love me and have loved me.”

“But I think that all of us have a sort of middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came at me right now… girl, don’t yell. We’re all here for love.”

Now the Pakistani lady who interacted with Priyanka has said that the actor made her the bad guy.

She tweeted:

Ayesha also shared videos of her talking to Priyanka, and captioned it saying, “Priyanka Chopra tweeted during a time when we were close to sending nukes to one another. Instead of advocating for peace she tweeted in support of the Indian army.”

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink opposite Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.

The Sky Is Pink will have its world premiere as part of the Gala Presentation at TIFF on September 13th. For those who don’t know, TIFF is one of the largest and most prestigious film festivals in the world. Only 20 films are there for the Gala Presentation from around the world each year.
