After entertaining us with movies like Badla, Kesari, Notebook, Luka Chuppi and many more in March 2019, Bollywood is all geared up to give something new to the audiences in April 2019. While some Bollywood movies lived upto their expectations, some didn’t. While some movies did well in Box Office, some didn’t.
April is here and so is our list of Bollywood movies releasing this month. This Summer these are some Bollywood movies that you can watch on the big screen.
- Romeo Akbar Walter: (5th April)
Romeo Akbar Walter is an action thriller directed by Robbie Grewal. It stars John Abraham, Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikandar Kher in the lead roles. The movie is a tribute to those brave men and women who are known in history books often as just ‘spies’.
- PM Narendra Modi: (5th April)
PM Narendra Modi is a biopic based on our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. This biopic is directed by Omung Kumar and jointly produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip Ssingh, and Anand Pandit and stars Vivek Oberoi as PM Narendra Modi.
- Marudhar Express: (12th April)
Directed by Vishal Mishra, Marudhar Express stars Tara-Alisha Berry, Rajesh Sharma and Kunaal Roy Kapur. The movie is a comedy that revolves around Marudhar who marries the sweet and pretty Chitra from Lucknow.
- The Tashkent Files: (12th April)
Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Tashkent Files is a thriller film about the death of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. It stars Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Basu Prasad, Mandira Bedi, Vinay Pathak, Mithun Chakraborty.
- Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai? (12th April)
Directed by Soumitra Ranade, Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai? revolves around Albert and his anger that is taking him on a journey to settle a score and enable him to lead a life of dignity and hope. The movie stars Nandita Das, Manav Kaul, Saurabh Shukla.
- Kalank: (17th April)
Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kemmu. Produced by Karan Johar, Fox Star Studios and Sajid Nadiadwala, Kalank is a period drama set in 1945 in the pre-independence British era which tells the travails of central characters in an ensemble.
- Avengers: Endgame (26th April)
Though Avengers: Endgame is not a Bollywood movie but is a huge one and is about to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers is produced by Marvel Studios and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin.
