Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in Padmaavat is all set to debut as a producer in a story based on teenager Laxmi Agarwal, who is an acid attack survivor.
Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of Laxmi Aggarwal in this movie titled Chhapaak and today the actress has shared her first look from the film.

The actress begins the shooting of the movie today. The movie is being directed by the Raazi fame filmmaker Meghna Gulzar. Vikrant Massey had been roped in to play her partner who supports her through thick and thin.
This is the first time that Meghna and Deepika will be working together. Well, DP’s look as Laxmi Aggarwal whose name in the movie is Malti is remarkable.
