Ever since the release of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh as a rapper – rap songs seem to be the craze. Following Ranveer’s footsteps is megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Sr. Bachchan is all set to rap for Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla.
The actor is set to record for a rap song called Aukaat. The makers of the film said that this promotional track will appear at the start of the credits and will mirror the angst in society. Amitabh’s signature voice has given the song another dimension, revealed the makers.
The music of the track is composed by Clinton Cerejo and is choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.
The makers are doing their all to promote the movie. Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of the producers, is teaming up with Amitabh to shoot a conversational video.
Badla stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Manav Kaul and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film is set to hit the screens on March 8.
