Govinda, who has acted in many films with Dilip Kumar and admires his acting, revealed that Dilip asked him to not do 25 films.
While talking to journalists about his upcoming film Rangeela Raja, Govinda revealed,
“Dilip saab & Dharam ji are my favourite. I feel blessed to be working with them when I started my career. They helped me a lot. Dilip saab asked me to leave 25 films that I had already signed. He told me that you’ve acted in a lot of films. I said that I had already taken and used the money I had got from those films (laughs). He then asked me to borrow money from somewhere & return it to the people. So I eventually left those films.”
Govinda will be seen playing a double role in Rangeela Raja. It is produced by Pahlaj Nihalani & directed by Sikandar Bharti.
