Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series is climbing the ladder to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube. The label may soon take over PewDiePie, the most popular YouTuber globally, as the number one channel on YouTube.
T-Series, India’s largest music and film production company, is garnering a subscriber base of 143,000 followers each day while PewDiePie‘s channel is growing at a rate of 30,000+ subscribers per day.
T-Series, which joined YouTube in 2006 has around 59 million subscribers at present becoming the most followed channel in India. Swedish personality, PewDiePie has enjoyed having more than 65 million subscribers for over 5 years now. Talking about content on the two channels, T-Series has 12,640 videos, while PewDiePie has only 3596 videos on his channel.
T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar has a choc-a-bloc film schedule planned for the channel this year. After giving hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Raid and Satyameva Jayate among others already, T-Series has more in store for the future. Their up of releases include films like Batti Gul Meter Chalu, De De Pyaar De, Bharat and more.
