Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz starrer Raid’s trailer launch had taken place today.
Ajay who is in this industry for a very long time started getting stardom after his famous movie Golmaal.
At the trailer launch when a reporter asked Ajay Devgn about his stardom, the actor said:
“Of course it is difficult. You cannot take everything so easily. You have to work hard on it. If you achieve anything that doesn’t mean it’s gonna stay with you, it is not gonna last forever. You have to keep struggling and try to go ahead because this is what life is.”
Raj Kumar Gupta is back with “Raid,” based on true events like his last film “No One Killed Jessica” (2011) and is a story of one of the biggest income-tax raids in the country. Ajay Devgn plays Amay Patnaik, a fearless officer who carried out a non-stop raid at the mansion of tauji, the most powerful man in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 1981. The movie is set to release on March 16, 2018.
The trailer was unveiled on Feb. 6. Present on the occasion was the lead star cast of the film – Ajay Devgn (who plays a deputy commissioner of income-tax), Ileana D’Cruz (looking fetching in a black saree and a bun) and Saurabh Shukla, along with producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, writer Ritesh Shah and director Gupta.
While D’Cruz plays Devgn’s wife (they are cast together again after the 2017 “Baadshaho”), Shukla plays Tauji. Amit Trivedi scores music, while Tanishk Bagchi does an additional track. With T-Series being one of the film’s producers, what price the song will be YET another re-creation?
