The year 2017 had taken away our beloved Vinod Khanna in the month of April, and now as the year is about to end, yesterday we get the news that veteran actor Shashi Kapoor passed away.
The superstar passed away around 5:20pm at Kokilaben hospital, Mumbai at the age of 79. He had been on dialysis for failing kidneys and was in a wheelchair for the last few years due to which he rarely made any public appearances.
When Shashiji was in a song, it left a name in the hearts of millions. The romantic icon has romanced some of the most beautiful ladies on screen- Rakhee, Zeenat Aman, Sharmila Tagore to name a few.
His songs are still evergreen favorites on radio stations. His chemistry in the song stole many hearts.
