Yesterday, one year before i.e on 8th of November 2016, the government of India had made a ban on old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 and instead introduced new notes of Rs 500 and Rs 2000, due to which a lot of people had to face problems. Yesterday many of them celebrated the anniversary of demonetization, on social media. On this first anniversary of demonetisation, actor Prakash Raj took aim at the Modi government and asked if it was ready to apologize to the nation for the “biggest blunder of our time”.
He posted #justasking on his twitter account. The actor said the note ban, which was announced in a surprise midnight announcement by PM Modi on November 8 last year, had only served a certain section of the society to illegally convert their black money into white. He also claimed that the move to scrap high value currency notes had crippled the unorganized sector, which mostly deals in cash.

Well, it takes guts to take a stand against the Government. Doesn’t it? #justasking
