Well it seems that all Shah Rukh Khan fans will have to wait more for SRK’s TV comeback show, Ted Talks — India. The show was set to launch in October during Diwali, but now it has been pushed ahead. The show will go on air either in mid-November or December.
According to sources, the channel has invested hugely in the show and a lot of post-production work yet needs to be done. Also the channel has two celebrity-studded shows coming up — Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, on which he is the judge and the other show is Lip Sing Battle which will be hosted by Farah Khan. Both the shows will be aired on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
A source said:
“Shah Rukh’s show is also slated for weekends, and they want a very good slot for it — either in the morning or evening. They are looking at building it up like Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, as Ted Talks is also very informative. They want to open it in a big way. Even SRK is not in a rush. His last few releases haven’t fared very well at the box office and he is very particular about his comeback show. So, they have decided to wait it out and take a call on it later.”
Well, the date of SRK’s show Ted Talks is not yet fixed no, so I guess we will have to just wait patiently for it.. After all they say ‘Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet’ 😉
