Mohan Sharma: My work is my best friend

Mohan Sharma, the young 10-year-old who plays the role of Ganesha in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s (Swastik Productions) Shani, says that he has learned the importance of discipline and timing on the sets, he says,

“I enjoy working on the sets, everyone is very helpful and they treat me with respect even if I am a child actor. My work is my best friend now!”

But how does he manage his studies with the hectic shoot schedule?

“Both studies and shoot are essential, I carry my books with me whenever I am shooting.”

Working in a mythological can be taxing, the actor says,

“It takes almost three hours to get ready with all the prosthetic makeup, I can’t have my meals in between the shoot, but it is really worth it! It is fun to work. When everyone sees my getup, they actually are amazed because I resemble so much to Ganesha.”

The actor has worked in many shows like Dwarkadheesh, Prannath ji, Yam Hain Hum, Bal Krishna, Bandhan, etc. He has also worked in many Bhojpuri films and Sunny Deol‘s Hindi Singh Saab the Great.
