Actress Zoe Saldana Did More Stunts For GOTG Vol 2 Than The First One!

For Zoe Saldana, coming back to the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ family was the highlight of reprising her role as Gamora in Marvel Studios’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’.

Zoe said:

“Getting back to work with people that I fell in love with, who are beautiful people, is my favorite part. They are people that I love to keep connected with and I love to watch grow. I felt that it was special because all the messages felt strong to me, relevant and identifiable.  That recognition gave me this hope that it would do well. In terms of the box office success of it all, it exceeded any expectations that I may have had.”

 

The Actress reveals she did more stunts in the sequel than the first one.

She further said:

 “I did more stunts in this one than in the first one. It’s a lot, but it all felt like fun. There was more one-on-one combat in the first movie. In this one there are a lot of jumps and flying in the air. I also feel like my quarreling with Nebula feels much more sophisticated. We’re not just like hitting each other. I feel like we’ve stepped it up a notch.”

 

For Saldana, working with Chris Pratt again was also a fun experience filled with “levity, silliness, and humour.”

She added:

“Chris also made Quill a person. He didn’t make Quill a Super Hero. Chris is like a guy from Washington State. He loves music, loves trucks. A guy’s guy, for sure.”

 

‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2’ releases on 5th May.
