The Urban Asian team continues it’s celebrations for King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan’s 50th Birthday!
An a cappella group based in Chicago, Illinois from the University of Urbana-Champagne, Chai Town presents a creative and quirky tribute to SRK on his special day!
Before you take a look at the music video these talented singers have compiled together, let me tell you a bit about them.
Chai Town was started up in late 2000’s and over the years the group has gained a fan base all over the world. From music videos, singles and full albums! Chai Town has reached the million view mark on their YouTube channel and still working hard to showcase their talent and creativity as displayed in the SRK tribute video below.
Why did Chai Town choose Shahrukh Khan to commemorate? It’s simple, he’s inspired so many all over the world and that includes Chai Town too. He has played a huge role for the group as they have grown up seeing his classic DDLJ and K3G and have mimicked his signature moves in their living rooms. If it wasn’t for SRK, Chai Town would not be around in this day and age. With this latest video being released on SRK’s birthday, they wanted to commemorate the King of Bollywood for truly influencing his listeners and Chai Town.
